What a win. We didn't even have Mo too. Great effort on the boards, CP3 had a crazy game, and we withstood the onslaught by Kobe. Got some momentum now, we need to keep it up.

We win another rebound battle (50-42), but this time it ended in a win. 17 offensive rebounds. 32 rebounds total between Griffin, Jordan and Evans. Paul controlled the tempo and had his best offensive performance of the season. He stayed with the team and got up a few times to congratulate and encourage them. Hopefully, he won't miss any time. If he does, then we need Mo to hurry up and get back on the floor for us. Blake did his usual thing. His rebounding got off to a slow start this season, but he's pulling them down like we're all used to. Billups was shooting like he did in preseason, which was coincidentally against the Lakers as well. Kobe got his 40+, but we got the win. The only stat that truly matters.

Blake said this prior to the game.
“It’s not just a matter of just stopping [Kobe], but you have to slow him down and account for him,” Griffin said. “But at the same time you can still beat a team even if one guy has 40 or 50 [points].”

Statement game or not, we have now won 5 of our last 6. Our guys improving day-by-day on both sides of the ball and getting more acquainted with each other. We have b2b2b beginning on Monday. It is against the Nets. Williams has played Paul strong his whole career, but it's no longer the Hornets and Jazz. Humphries is like Blake's evil counterpart. I'm sure that they'll both be looking forward to that game and matching up with their dopplegangers.

Great game. The bench had a big struggle without Mo tonight, but in the end, it worked out well. Hopefully Chris is feeling ready and good to go in the coming days, and the hammy isn't anything more than a one night injury.

The thing that sucks with hamstring injuries is that they can linger or be re-aggravated if not treated properly. We should be able to beat the Nets without him. Jazz in Utah? Eh. At the very least, we need Mo back.

Guys this win propels us to the #3 spot, and with a game against the Nets I see us taking that #2 spot from the Spurs.

Great win. No Mo Williams, Caron was subpar, no bench production, and we STILL win. I'll take it. CP3 was absolutely scintillating. And Reggie Evans was a big reason we won the rebounding battle.

Clippers making strides as a team

“I think instead of taking baby steps, we’re skipping a step,” said Chauncey Billups, who had 19 points on six-for-12 shooting against the Lakers. “And I think these two games –- even the Portland game, to be honest with you –- we got better. That’s all you can really ask for.”

“We’re getting better defensively,” Paul said. “It would have been nice to get that win in Portland. But we’re doing what we’re supposed to do and that’s to take care of home. Before we run out on the court, we say, ‘Protect our court.’ And we did that.”

Great win last night, really enjoyed watching us beat the Lakers :)
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!
