NYK @ OKC 1/14

Starts at 7 central. Should be a blowout, Melo isn't playing, Knicks are struggling, we're well rested, etc.

Over/under Durant sits 4th quarter?

Hope our starters sat out the 4th quarter!

Trap game. Knicks get fired up proving they are more than Melo and we could be in for close one.

The NY Post is suggesting that this game without Anthony is an opportunity to have better ball movement and feature Stoudemire. Is Anthony such a "ball stopper" that the D'Antoni offense will look dramatically different?

The Thunder are at their most vulnerable against a team with good ball movement and a rim protector.
Do the Knicks have enough offensive finishers without Anthony?

Finally caught up and watched the last two games this morning...

I think this should be a win. Ibaka struggles some against Amar'e but other than that I see advantages all over the place for us. Shumpert should be interesting defending Westbrook I'm assuming.

Hope the starters don't sit unless we're up 25+. This team is young and far from polished. Too much rest worries me.

I'm looking for focus and efficiency tonight. From everyone, but especially from Durant and Westbrook. I hope we opt to attack the basket as opposed to settling for long jumpers(Durant), make our freebies(Durant), and play well defensively.

The Knicks are a better team without Melo. Don't think that this is a win because he's out tonight.

Also, if you think Westbrook doesn't pass much for a PG, just wait til you see their PG Shumpert. He is literally incapable of passing the ball.

On a team with Melo and Amar'e, he is averaging 14 shots a game. With the 14 shots a game he is averaging...

12 points (you average 2 more shots than points a game?)
1 FTA (How does a ball dominant, heavy shooting PG only average 1 FTA a game?)
37 fg% (Westbrook is shooting 43% for reference)
15 3pt% (   )
4 3pt attempts a game (You shoot 4 a game when you're making 15%? )
45 ts% (god awful, Durant's FG% is 49%)
83 OffRtg ( this is honestly the worst OffRtg I have ever seen in my life)

That being said, he'll probably destroy us tonight

I don't know if any of you watch this on FS but this Panic! at the Disco song is absolutely awful.

Don't think it would have changed the result much.

Five games now that were blow outs that ended up with a somewhat reasonable looking final score.

Trying to sabotage dat point differential.

Durant's stats are going to be horrible this season at this rate.

I'm sure he doesn't care one bit, but still.

I'm just glad he is stronger, it has helped his whole game except free throws. Sure it might hurt his efficiency a bit, but it will help in the most important area, when the game is on the line and we need a bucket.

Good game, should win the next 2 as well, hopefully we don't get complacent.

so long as we're winning, his stats should be the least of his concerns. Better to get more rest for this short season too.
