They'll likely amnesty or trade Deandre Jordan if Dwight goes there.

Can't amnesty Jordan because his extension was signed under the new CBA. The amnesty clause only applies for contracts signed under the old CBA.

Not everyone wants to pretend they are saints like you. Superstars are also human like us. They have a right to choose what is best for them, only slavery in the past prevent human rights. Teams have the rights to choose who they want and not the players ? You actually believe in the word of "Loyalty" in the modern world ? it's a word for the employers to fool their employees.

:o So basically "yes" they'll cry themselves to a bigger market.

Same thing happen to the job market. you start with a small one once you get experience and reputation you switch to a better company with higher potential. On the other hand, companies have their sights on other companies employees as well if they can be proven worthy. it's not what you called "Crying". People made up words like that to make the stars look bad when in the reality it's just a common strategy to get a better situation for themselves like most of us do in a job market. I don't know why people put a double standard on the superstars while they on the other hand always elect to a better school/company and thinking it's their own right to do so.

Really really dumb of the clips for the reasons i already said. I don't know why teams get so attached to potential when you could compete for the championship this year, instead of hoping this kid developes one day to be as good as the guy you have a chance to trade for right now

Well at least finish out your god damn contract you signed. That's the only part that annoys me. Once you're a free agent its fine you can go where ever the hell you want. But you made a commitment to the team.

I would only do Jordan and Mo Williams for dwight. Blake is to valuable.

This is considered baiting. This is your only warning.

EDIT: Wait...how many warnings do you already have against your record? Wow.

Dwight Howard TWEETS his response!

@danteparman
@DwightHoward the clippers really? Idk why you can't just campaign Deron Williams to Orlando and go out as a hero instead of a punk

This is where people have the misconception. People hated Lebron for gutting the Cle yet Dwight is doing the exactly opposite of telling Magic in adavance. Just remember one point. All dwight did was telling Magic his choice (which is his own right) after the contract year but whether Magic wants to keep Dwight or not for the contract year is still to be decided by themselves unlike Lebron who didn't give an option for Cle at all.

LOL Clipps would be soooo dumb not to trade Blake for Howard. They would have the best players at the 2 most important positions (or top 2 if you think Rose is better than Paul). Howard would make them the favorite, but have fun keeping Blake ;)

Blake is still raw and i don't see him developing much defensively. If Dwight is the available i don't think you need a second to think really.

LOL the Magic FO probably leaked the clips to up the offers from everyone else but Dwight just killed that. Dwight doesn't know that he just did that though cause he thinks he's getting back at the media

Why on earth wouldn't you give up Blake Griffin for Dwight?

Makes no sense

Blake is a damn good player, but will never be as good as Dwight.

It may be that CP3 and Dwight > CP3 and Blake

But...

CP3 and Blake and Refs > CP3 and Dwight

as a Magic fan...

Knowing whats going on down here..

Its REALLY unlikely the Magic are going to trade Dwight anywhere at this point...

Besides... Lakers have no leverage anyways... Something I don't understand when people say they're the ONLY team he can go to. They don't have the cap space, and they don't really have the players the Magic want to rebuild in the future.

The Clippers on the other hand have A LOT of leverage. They got the tradeable young players (Outside of Giffin and Paul, those guys aren't getting traded). They've go the younger core in which Dwight would be appealed to go to. And on top of that, they have the cap space to go after him this off-season.

If he wanted to, he can opt out and sign with them if he wanted to.

So I mean the only way the Magic could get anything in return, is if they do a sign and trade in which the got Beldsoe and Jordan.

Not a good trade. But it would salvage them....

I agree with your assesment...But there is NO WAY they trade Dwight for that GARBAGE.

Holy *hit they have to be joking right?

Actually some are even replacing Eric Bledsoe with Brian Cook. So maybe it is a joke.

Cleveland fans wish they had time to prepare. I respect Dwight Howard for being straight forward and honest. The same with Chris Paul.

why? I'm happy we sucked for a year instead of taking on a bunch of salary/**** prospects from Miami...what were we gonna get? Beasley? Chalmers? James Jones? Nah although this is hindsight, doing a deal with Miami would have been awful for our future IMO.
