Thats just the way I see it.

i've been saying this since the loss to the bobcats. you can see it in amare and his body language. it's ugly

That game where Iman tried to be a super star on national TV got to him. He wanted out of that game. And he went out of his way to tackle someone for his 4th foul and never returned.

I agree its been going on before that with amare. But thats the game I saw what I felt was a guy who no longer wanted to participate. And that bothered me. Of course that just my perspective of what happened. But it cannot be denied something is up with this dude.

I would hate for Stat to get traded to a team with a coach only to come back and dunk on this entire roster in front of the same fair weather crowd chanting "MVP!" last season.

Good grief.

Too bad his dunk will be canceled out by even more dunks on him. It will be a layup line to the basket when Amare is guarding anyone.

David Lee was once The Doorman. Eddy Curry was before him. Amare Stoudemire has now claimed the throne as the new Doorman.

Fair weather you say? I'm not fair weather. Tell that to the bandwagon fans who started watching last year. Those are the ones who were chanting 'MVP' anyway.

No, but feel free to visit the trade thread. Foolish trades that have no chance of happening are commonplace there.

Okay, man. I'm with you. Let's trade him for Ben Wallace. He's got a ring and is small enough for the 4. Plus he plays defense!

Houston tried to obtain Amare twice before in recent years. They recently tried to land Gasol to shore up their PF position using Martin and Scola as chips. There's no chance of them going after Amare (to pair with Dally and Lowry) with the same package. Obviously!

Kane - I see what you see.

From Amar'e's perspective...

- He's no longer top dog
- Brass looked to trade him for Paul in the offseason
- Dudes didn't come to his camp
- Asshat fans have turned on him
- Now some rook is eating from his dish

Now, I'm not saying he's completely justified... but he mad. This was his team last year and the tide has turned on him. Somebody from upstairs really needs to sit down with this guy and tell him he's wanted here and that we need him to be Leader Stat. This could become a real problem.

Does anyone know why Amare only played 22minutes against Orlando? I did not watch the game< I had more pressing business. Since I spent a little coin going to OKC for the Knicks game, and they performed so poorly, I have dropped the team to a much lower level on my priority list.

The classic "I have nothing constructive left to say so let me mock you with a sarcastic post of random bad/old player to trade for" comeback.

Good one.

Kane shared that they felt Amare fouled in order to get off the floor, just as you observed in person in OKC.

What bothers me about Stat getting at attitude about him not being #1 dog is that he was the one who wanted his bff Melo on this team. He asked for it.

i AM SURE all of the melo hoopla had to get under his skin.. the "coming home" video, all of the attention, had to do something to him.. I mean amare came here when lebron thumbed his nose at us.. he had a team where he was leader....and now he is second fiddle..

but I will say this, amare had a chance to stand behind the young guys early last year, and he kind of threw the young guys under the bus, when all of the trade talk was going on, amare should have stood tall with his guys and backed them 100% , instead he talked about how young they were, as if it were a problem...

Yeah man. We on the same page. Its kind of understandable but I dont like it. I really think he has a bug up his ass. And im worried that with the current state of the team, this could start to boil.

If we end up with a problem in the locker room we can forget it.

So we go from theory to fact that fast? Don't crucify the man based on a messageboard poster's opinion.

It will only be a matter of time until Adrian Wojnarowski writes an article about it. I'm surprised no one has yet. It's such an easy one to garner views.

I hear you. Amar'e is not blameless. Far from it. The camp business this offseason was a doggone JOKE as well.

But blame schlame. We need to figure out how to get this guy to PLAY and take ownership back! From a management perspective you need to calm this guy right now and get his head in the right place. We need MANAGERS! Grunwald? D'Antoni? Somebody!

He totally does. But these bugs can be dislodged with good communication and leadership from management. Amar'e's being a brat but we've seen what he can be when on the right page.

For all the braintrust going on in our FO do we STILL not have that? Can you imagine this going on this long with DW in charge?!
