Re: Dwight Howard
Dwight Howard has added the Clippers to his list of preferred destinations.
“He’s been watching them a lot. He’s intrigued by the Clippers,” said the source.
The Nets, Mavericks and Lakers were already on Howard's list.
The source also said it more likely that Howard will play out the entire season with Orlando.

Re: Dwight Howard
I don't see Dwight coming here but I most definitely think we will be one of the teams at the top of the list when it comes to a three way deal. I have a strong feeling we will get involved with the Howard trade one way or another.

I just can't see it. To be honest, no matter how much we improve this season I think he'd still have at least 5 or 6 teams ahead of Minnesota on his wish list.

More like 20 teams ahead of us. Minnesota is not a very attractive place for a star looking for publicity and championships.

Re: Dwight Howard
Dwight has not won a championship.
I can see 4 or 5 in a row with Timberwolves.
Look what Miami has got themself into, Riley wont even coach team...only Jackson could steer team from wreckage and Riley sure aint going to call him.
There are many places Howard can go, Timberwolves make the most sense.

If he has League Pass he should be watching the Wolves.

Sota gives: Beasley, Johnson, Miller, Webster, Pekovic, and Memphis/Utah picks.
Orlando gives: Howard and Turkoglu
Wolves take a chance on Howard not re-signing, but it gives up mostly cap space, middle 1sts, and Beasley. MAJOR salary commitment, but it helps ensure that Love re-signs. Howard has talked about wanting to be THE MAN, and in Minnesota he's not competing with LeBron, Wade, Paul, or Kobe.
Magic don't get the superstar package back, but this helps them clear a ton of cap space by shedding Turkyglue, brings in Beasley/Johnson as prospects, and a couple middle 1sts. This also pushes Howard into the Western Conference and avoids the Magic/Laker comments.
C - Howard/Milicic/Randolph
PF - Love/Tolliver
SF - Turkoglu/Williams
SG - Ellington/Lee
PG - Rubio/Ridnour/Barea
Wolves are weak at SG, but as long as Ellington can space the floor and Lee can play good perimeter defense, we should be fine with Love/Turkey/Tolliver/Williams all able to shoot an outside shot. Ridnour and Barea would get minutes alongside Rubio as well, obviously.

Did we get another #1 from Memphis? We traded their 2011 pick (#20) to Houston during the draft.

We got a 2013 Memphis pick from Houston in the Flynn deal. It's lottery protected for 3 years. Houston had it from the Thabeet trade.

This is from DX
Houston trades a 2013 first round pick (lottery protected in 2013-2016) to Minnesota as part of the Jonny Flynn/Brad Miller trade. Memphis trades a 2013 first round pick (lottery protected in 2013-2016) to Houston as part of the Shane Battier/Hasheem Thabeet trade. If pick is not conveyed by 2016, then compensation will be a 2016 second round pick and cash.
