I'm a die hard Magic fan, but really guys, Dwights gone...the writing has been on the wall for awhile. it's just a matter of where he's going and if it's going to be a trade to get him there

I have absolutely no faith in Otis to pull off the best trade possible. For example, I have a feeling that if it's the Nets trade, somehow Marshon Brooks will be left out of the deal b/c we already have a glut of SG's...when in fact he should be one of the main pieces because he can be flipped or we can trade JJ or JRich. That Brooks is a talented kid.

just thinking, mabye we should trade ryan while his value is getting high? i think we could even land nash with him if we wanted. something like nash and frye for jameer, anderson and a 1st? i think phoenix pulls the trigger. i think we should also try to trade jrich for something..anything he is awful this year and reddick and wafer are better at this point.

dwight/frye

this team wins it all imo and with dwight likely leaving either way at least we can end it with a title while we rebuild for the next few years.

First off, I personally don't think he is going to opt-out this summer, as he won't get $8mil plus on the free market....but perhaps he wants to lock in his last long-term decent contract? Who knows. Does NYK have anything to offer us in a trade for him, since they are interested? I know they really don't have many assets.

Like you say, that's assuming Jameer would opt out, which I seriously doubt given that he'll be earning $3m over the MLE next year, and his play this season has hardly been good enough to warrant a comparable pay-day. Meer is almost certain to see out the last year of his deal in 2012/13.

What could we realistically get from them via trade that they would want to give up? I don't see a deal when looking at the two rosters.
