Nice block by AD to end the half there.

Bradley Beal is like a freight train when he gets that head of steam in the open court lol. A very versatile guard, but I don't think he's Dwyane Wade. Doesn't have that explosive first step to get to the tin consistently. Has mad range though. Guy pulls up a bit outside the NBA 3-pt line like it's nothing.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

I have to slap the smile off my face any time I imagine the possibility of a frontcourt rotation of Bargs/Amir/Val/A.Davis. As real as our chances are, the basketball gods will find a way to screw us as that frontcourt would be unreal.

Just get W.Chandler in FA. No need to get rid of Bargs.

That 4 man rotation of bigs is just very complimentary. Casey would love having those guys playing his zone and they all provide different options on offense. Not sure it gets better than that for a franchise in the early stages of a rebuild.

I think Ed will stay cos he doesnt look to be a good valuable chip this year. Bargs' value will be all time high if he keeps it up this season. Look to trade him for something good in return, especially solving some other problems (not the 4 not the 5).

Seeing all the different rebuild scenarios popping over the last few weeks here I really hope BC doesn't get himself as easily confused as they all seem more and more diluted. The plan A is sound and in my mind hasn't changed over the last two months.

1. Draft A.Davis + Kidd-Gilchrist - I would trade Bargs/Davis if it meant making that happen.
2. Aquire a PG in FA - Westbrook/Deron with Steve Nash as a fall back.
3. Fill in the blanks with remaining cap space with complimentary pieces that fit Casey's system.

Davis' quickness is ridiculous! The more I watch him the more I see why he's the 1st pick.

26 points - 13 rebounds - 7 blocks on ridiculous efficiency. 10-11fg - 6-6ft and no turnovers.

I said it after Kentucky's third game of the season - he has a chance to eventually become the best PF in the NBA. That's why he's going no.1 in June.

Who's going to shoot the ball on that team? What are the chances we land Westbrook or Deron?

With added strength, he's going to be amazing. But we definitely need a guard who's got good penetrating skills to work with him though. Because in the early part of his career he'll have trouble scoring down low in the post. He'll be using his non-stop motor, quickness, and rely on tip ins and broken plays cos he's still pretty raw in post game. But his defensive presence is just so dominate, one of the best weakside defenders for years to come.

I'll keep on saying it: Anthony Davis WILL win more than one championship in the NBA.

I think A Davis could easily play SF in the NBA since it was his natural position. He still has the speed of a Sf but his height and rebounding and blocking would be awesome. Think of a front court of Davis SF, C Val, PF Bargs. They would be the premiere front court they would be putting up 60 +points 25rebounds 6 to 10 assists and 5 to 8 blocks again and very good defense. Trading E. Davis or amir to get a PG ( Kabongo)

While I think AD is absolutely a natural 4, his foot-speed when he gets switched out onto the perimeter on defence is very impressive.

We need Davis. It's that simple really.

You could put Davis in all 3 low spots of our 2-3 zone.

Even if we are lucky enough to draft AD, I don't think you try and swing for the fences in free agency. I think you roll with the same roster and keep building through the draft. Look to find a good SG or SF in 2013, or with a second pick in 2012. Player development is key, no quick fixes.

Unless ofcourse a Derron Williams decides to hop on board, but I do agree with your sentiments in that we shouldn't be throwing away all our money at free agents because some of the lottery picks will eventually need to get paid big and we will need it then.
