not a good matchup against KD, I am looking forward to wall vs westbrook.
Javale should have a good game against undersized OKC. nick young has to start driving to basket to draw fouls...to much fadeaway garbage by him.

Singleton wll get another lesson about what it takes to slow down a scorer. If McGee tries showboating w/ OKC, someone (Perkins, Ibaka) might throw an opportune elbow.

I was thinking the same thing. Singleton was added to stop these players. He is getting his first round of training.

I'm looking for a win against Boston. Should be interesting to watch wall vs rondo again now that wall is playing better.

Whataknight, why did u come-over to start a game thread here? Thx I-guess.

Could u update the thread with time etc so it looks like a game thread?

Edit: I mixed u-up with a different poster. Still, where did u come from? At-least attempt a proper game thread :-)

I reckon throwing Singleton and Vesely against KD could be good for both of them. And I think we'll have to, no doubt the refs will bail KD out if he struggles against them.

Hoping Wall dominates Westbrook and forces him into bad shots.

If we really bring it, this will be another low scoring game. I predict Harden goes off and we lose by 12.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

I think he means just the front court.

Perkins and Ibaka are both only 6'10" with shoes and three pairs of socks on.

If Wall plays as smart as he did last game and with the same effort, this team will start the gel.

I see them slowly getting on the same page.

They played hard last game. If they can keep that up, the dog will start to show. I think the fight in them is slowly going to start to show. This dog is getting tired of getting beaten on and it will bit back soon. My parent taught me to be careful around injured animals.

I think the start of the season had them with their tails between their legs. But individually, these players have more fight then what we have seen.

Wall has some angry dog in him. So does Booker and Singleton. I know KS has it. Ves has it. Crawford has it. McGee is starting to show more and more all the time. I'm glad Sam was giving Wall crap. Hope he called him a punk. Wall needs to get his dander up but not at Sam. He has played like a punk girl to often this year.

These are mostly young people. When they are tired of getting slapped around, they will learn to punch back. Nothing is going to be given to them. They need to learn that. There is no help on the way so they need to look in the mirror and then around the locker room. Find some sticks and torches and storm the town square.

I think they will show better then they have been and I see signs that they are. Specially that last game from Wall. He is learning how to use his speed more effectively and when he finally does, he will be utilizing his main advantage. They is when his talent will start to show. What I saw last game was a player that blow people to the rim.

Durant scores with ease but he's not as burly as Carmelo. Perhaps Singleton can defend without drawing so much contact. Vesely is at one of the few defenders the same height or taller than Durant. It may not be as bad a beat down as the records would indicate.
Tre Johnson is the future of the Wizards.

i think it'll be catastrophic. they're a great 3 pt shooting team and is 4th best in the league in defending the 3 pt shot. we're 26th in the league in 3p% and 27th in opponents 3p%. on top of the shooting, they've got a 2nd unit that's a dream pick and roll combo in harden/collison who are extremely smart players to boot. not to mention they're tops in the league in FTA's. i'll call it right now. singleton fouls out of his first NBA game tomorrow and we get crushed by 35.

KS doing some battle with Perkins as well.

KS may not be ready for 20 minutes a game, but he is in the wings for when they need that kind of power.

I couldn't agree more with what Hands says below. The Wizards ARE dogs. By the way, I find it morally unacceptable that game threads no longer have cheerleaders.

Hmm, this doesn't look good.

They should finally have a full roster again though... minus Ronny

Last time they had this full roster, they won. not saying they will this time though but they will be full strength again finally.

Hey, if that's not cheerleading, I don't know what is.

Random predictions: Vesely will have more steals/blocks than points. Wall will hit a 3 pointer!
