Re: Barea or Ridnour??
Ridnour annoys me a lot, but Barea was annoying me already too before he got hurt. He pounds the ball just as bad as Luke at times. Compare Barea's 26% usage rate to Luke's 17% so far this season. We do know both have had success playing with other point guards, Luke with Jennings and Barea with Kidd. It's a tough call. Right now, I'm not sure which one is better to keep, but that's a change from my previous position of trying to throw Ridnour in every trade.

Re: Barea or Ridnour??
#1.) Trade whoever brings us the best player in return ...
#2.) IMO, Luke fits a little better (long-term) off the bench backing up both PG & SG, and I like the way he's played off the ball with the Rube. JJB can clearly create some offense, and due to a roster full of players who cannot, he fills a critical need short-term. So ... assuming a playoff impact 2 months from now, I would take JJB due to his championship experience.

This. Barea adds pace that Ridnour simply cannot and his ability to score creatively make him the absolute perfect backup PG IMO. I love seeing Ridnour get wide-open 3s because he is an unbelievably smooth shooter, but he little else to offer if he's not getting wide-open looks. I believe fully that Ricky has helped Ridnour's game and not the other way around.
Once we have a little fuller roster, we move Ridnour for max value and wish him the best of luck.
