Semih Erdin
I think this guy is a good player, we need to keep him around and give him minutes.

Agreed. He was a total bargain. What did we trade for him again? A second rounder for him and Harangody? Or was it just a trade exception? Either way awesome deal.

I liked Erdin when he was in boston and was shocked when I heard we got him for a 2nd round pick. He started a couple games for them last season and looked good.

Man if he ends up anything like Omer Asik, we're GOOD.

Re: Semih Erdin
As a basketball fan who has watched Asik and Erden develop over the years, I can easily say that Erden has a way much better offensive game than Asik has. But Asik is bigger, and he is more of a hustle player, so he is very very good at the defensive end. Semih is also pretty good in the defensive end, but he has smaller size and sometimes he just loses his focus.
On the offensive side though, Erden is a better finisher and a passer, which I think is one of the most underrated aspects of his game. But he is not good at giving 100% of himself every minute of the game, and this still makes him struggle. He is still in the transformation phase IMO. I didn't see the offensive game that he used to have back playing international ball.

Well he just had his best game for us today, he looked pretty good out there. I think hes gonna get a decent run on the court in terms of minutes for a little while, will be intresting to see how he goes.

He impressed me. Love me some foreign big men!
It's not whether you win or lose, it's how good you look playing the game

Last night, Erden was light years better than Hollins. I am looking forward to seeing what Semih can do when he is finally in game shape.
Well at least we're not Detroit!

A poor man's Pau Gasol would be starting ahead of Jamison.

18 PTS, 8 RB ,7/8 FG by Erden in the Pacers game, he was playing pretty good

I liked what I saw last night, but was it a complete fluke?

I don't think it was a fluke, he played well in Boston last year, in limited minutes. He's very consistent with his effort.

He was efficient in Boston, but his rebounding leaves a lot to be desired.

Just give him at least 30 min a game, he will be a 15/10 guy easily

I would be thrilled if he would be a 15/7 guy and be stout in the post.
