I didn't know Blake was such a whiny little bitch. He wants to get physical with players then complains when they come back at him.

I don't understand why Farmar played so much and Morrow played so little. Yes, Farmar had been on fire the last couple of games, but he wasn't hitting his shots, and Morrow is a guy who can score 6 or 9 points in a hurry if you get him some open looks. Especially down the stretch, when we needed some scoring, and we needed to hit a 3, I don't get why you go with Farmar over Morrow in that instance.

And yeah, Marshon definitely needed the ball more.

But seriously, despite all our failings as a team, we should have won this game if it was called properly. I know that sounds like I'm being a bitch, but come on, any objective person could see that the Clippers were getting babied. Even forgetting the bad flagrant foul call, even forgetting Griffin getting away with everything, and even forgetting how none of our players could get a call...if they had just called the two goal-tending plays, that would have been huge.

But I do think Shelden Williams deserves mad props, he played great tonight and did a great job on Griffin. Really showed up Humphries actually...the plays Shelden was making tonight (catching and finishing, scoring in traffic, offensive rebounds, battling for the defensive rebounds, hustle plays) were the plays that Humphries made for us last year. Honestly, if Shelden Williams plays like that the rest of the way, he deserves much more playing time. Way better option than Petro, and he's by far the best defensive big on the team.

Showcasing him to the Grizzlies?

One thing that has been seriously impressive about Brooks is his IQ. People talked about his tunnel vision and terrible shot selection during draft time, but what they ignored is his ability to read the situation. He knows when to attack, when to drive in to get fouled, and when to take a jumper.

This is actually a game I wanted to watch (I chose not to watch the other games) however, this particular game was one I wanted to see because I heard Avery say the Jazz scored 64 points on them inside the paint the other night. 64 points?!? Therefore, I wanted to see today's game with Griffin and Jordan to see what kind of game they could have inside of the paint.

Unfortunately, I had to work and missed the damn game. Was the game really as close as the score indicated?

I agree with a lot of the takes in here regarding Avery Johnson and his lack of attention to detail giving Jordan Farmar more minutes and by simply not getting this team to be better on the defensive side of the floor. Avery is a defensive minded coach, right, why is this such a hard thing to instill in this team?

They were killing us in the paint in the first half. In the 2nd half they (Sheldon and Humphries) did a great job on both Griffin and Jordan. Sheldon Williams was stellar for us today. As for the score, we were down 17 at one point and managed to tie it up with 5 minutes left in the 4th, but we missed a few open shots and the refs screwed us enough to guarantee us the loss.

On offense or defense? It's good he has stellar performance; the team just needs him to do it on a consistent basis.

17 point deficits should not happen every game. This team is not made to play catch up. I don't understand how teams can get such big lead. I checked the box score and did see the Clips won the 1Q 32-17 but the Nets won the rest of the quarters. It's nice to hear they fought back, I just want them to get in games where they don't have to claw back the entire game. Thanks for the update.

Worst officiated game I've seen all season. Dick Bavetta and his crew f*cking suck, he needs to retire.

Deron played horrible, but why the hell did we go back to having him play off the ball?

Farmar had 7 assists, Deron had 6 assists.....that should never, ever happen.

It totally gets him out of his comfort zone.
