I voted for Wall, but I'm surprised Young didn't get more votes. Then again, Nick was pretty useless in the first half.

Wall got outstat'd (copywrite) by Westbrook, but Westbrook got outpg'd by Wall. Wall was a true PG, while Westbrook was a true scoring guard. I'll take the true PG.

Nobody perfect, but lots of good games. Booker's D, Crawford playing more in control, McGee big rebounds in 2nd half (and some disallowed blocks), Lewis getting some timely shots and actually outrebounding at least once, even Blatche having some spurts of heart (if he held the ball too long here and there...).

Young for his big 3's that got the Wizards back into the game in the 3rd.
Vesely for his big defense that helped the wizards back into the game and hold on.
Wall for having such a huge impact from start to finish and hitting his FTs, even when his shots weren't dropping.

Janchise being picked 6th doesn't alter the impact he had on the game, nor do Nick Young's issues in other games or his missed free throws (but if they lost...). Picking Young, but not a large margin between the three. Expect that Wall will be getting a few of these this year. But not too many.

PS: Also have to credit Saunders for trying some different lineups. Whether he stays or goes, it's probably better for the team's growth if he continues to experiment.

Not gonna vote since I fell asleep in the 3rd but it looks like the collective FT shooting and Young being hot from 3 were the difference. Also, in the part of the game I saw, I think that Vesely and (as much as I hate to admit it) Blatche were difference makers.

Nick sparked the run in the 3 and had a Key charge on Durant in the fourth. He did however miss 2 FT's in the final minutes.
I'm going with
Wall
Nick
Craw/Ves
Sit back and watch WALL WORK!! >:-)

Wall has to get it, but Blatche Vesely and McGee's rebounding were keys. All 3 fought for balls in traffic, tipped out offensive misses, and blocked out. Last year a front line of Perkins and Ibaka would have eaten us alive on the boards.
Making extreme statements like "only" sounds like there are "no" Jokics in this draft? Jokic is an engine that was drafted in the 2nd round. Always a chance to see diamond dropped by sloppy burgular after a theft.

Last year? Try this year! My impression from glancing at box scores is that the team has been getting outrebounded in almost every game.

Javale he is probably going to be one of the greatest players ever in the history of the washington.
Wall--leadership and competitive heart.
Blatche for not backing down against perkins.
Vesely for scrapping and hustling every second.
Jamal crawford--for slowly turning into this team's jason terry.
Build your team w/5 shooters using P. Pierce Form deeply bent hips and lower back arch at same time b4 rising into shot. Elbow never pointing to the ground! Good teams have an engine player that shoot volume (2000 full season) at 50 percent.Large Hands

Imagine Jason Terry. Now imagine him playing for the Trailblazers under another name. That'll put this team over the top. I say we trade Jordan Crawford for Jamal Terry right now

LOLWUT? Last season you were saying the Wizards made a mistake picking him in the first place.

I voted for Wall because he played well the whole game on both sides.

35 FT for our 3 guard rotation, hadn't realized it was THAT impressive . . . gotta love it!
