Denver likes to get up and down the court and that's what Washington wants to do, too. They have some terrific shooters in Gallinari and Afflalo. Harrington and lately Brewer have been hitting shots. They have rebounders and shot blockers off their bench.

Wall spoiled Durant's homecoming. I wonder if he can help the Wizards do the same to Ty Lawson?

No way we're going to win this one now that game threat etiquette has been broken. Shouldn't whataknight301 been starting this one?

Well, crackhed just guaranteed a loss by jinxing whataknight301's winning streak.

You can't put the genie back in the bottle. I guess this is the game thread.

EDIT: Nice twist with the chessboard though.

Denver is an interesting case. They traded a franchise player for a lot of good players and played better after the trade. They are good enough to have a winning record in the regular season but how far can you go in the playoffs with Ty Lawson as your leading scorer?

They don't have anyone that you would really consider a legit number 1 option on offense.

I think the Melo trade really sucked for the Knicks. They were well on their way to being a strong team and just gave up too much.

That trade is looking even worse now that Amare is playing like an old man. That NY team is a mess and they're expecting Baron Davis to be their savior

I think we match up pretty well against Denver. They play run and gun basketball so it should be a fun game to watch. We'll lose but it'll be entertaining.

I gotta say the Wiz cheerleaders are pretty hideous IMO. There is one blonde chick who looks acceptable, but years in Miami when in the US has destroyed my objectivity.

That being said put them in London around the zombies/hobbits passing themselves off as females and I'd be all over them after a few drinks......yes women in London are absolutely awful. Ireland? Disgusting.

another team that plays our style and we matchup well against. We're 2-0 with our full group minus Turiaf and you can tell we are starting to gel, find roles, and are playing more unselfish. I think we win this if we didnt let the last one get to our heads but I dont think it has. Wall goes for 30 & 10

My burning question for tomorrows game---Is Aaron Afflalo worth $42M more than Nick Young? My gut says no.

I think the Knicks will pull it together. I don't think they're a championship calibre team, and they're probably in for a rebuild in 3-4 years, but they should be a good, exciting team until then.

They need to fire D'Antoni, who is a joke. Then they need to get a real pg. Relying on Baron Davis is a bad idea. They can probably sign someone next year, but it's tough to wait until then when you've already opened your window to compete. Maybe they could get a decent pg for Landry Fields.

Ask the question again next year after Nick gets his contract . . . whatever it may be
