Looking forward to watching this game. Have not taken a full game look at the Nuggets since the Carmelo trade. They do appear to be playing quite well. What makes them tick? Running, good perimeter shooting. Did their team defense improve once Anthony was gone?

trying to remember which fwd is the 4 and which the 3 for DEN.

Gali seems likely to destroy Blatche with his motor but Sing
might slow him down some if he can do so without fouling.
The Czech Bounce might be a good choice to guard Gali.

Last year Harrington completely destroyed us in the game
here. He could not miss from deep. I think we actually played
them better last year on the road.

DEN -7.5 over WAS...lock it up. DEN will run all over Wiz. Final Score 115-98.

Aaron Afflalo is a roleplayer who is good - not great - at three point shooting and defense. He's a good guy and a great player to have on your team.... but there is no way in the seven circle's of Dante's fever dream that he's worth 10 million a year. Anyone who gives him that deserves the mediocrity that will result.

Denver 106-102, close the whole way, Vesely gets more points and rebounds than Blatche, Wall shoots at least .500 and hits a 3 pointer. Great tank loss.

This should be an entertaining game and if we rebound the ball on the defensive glass and make some shots we could potentially get the W. With that said, so far after every game the Wiz have played well in(won or lost), the very next game they give us a stinker. So I'll be pessimitic about them playing well in consecutive games until they prove to me they can do just that.

As far as the game goes it would really nice for John to tack on another solid performance. He looks as he may be coming out of his slump, so another good game would continue to add to his confidence and the confidence of those "JOHN WALL IS A BUST" fans propagting this board. Crawford has also played pretty solid as of late, I hope he can keep that up. It does wonders for his game when he's agressively attacking the rim instead of just chucking and at the very least it helps him not be completely drapped by a defender when he envitably does chuck.

Lastly, we have to get out on their shooters or its going to be another miserable night. Cheers, hope the boys prove me wrong and we go streaking. :D

I seriously doubt it. Vesely doesn't shoot enough to score points (which is a good thing since he isn't a good shooter).

Flip's an idiot, just now talkling about the success of the Wall-JC-NY lineup. We were having trouble scoring all year and he doesnt use that? In the offseason I said it should only be a 3 guard rotation with Wall-JC-NY with NY also getting time at the 3 with those 2 on the court. He's just now doing it

BTW, I love this quote from NY: “I’m back, baby, I’m back,” Young said before Friday morning’s shootaround at Verizon Center. “So just look out for tonight.”
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Still, that can go either way from me. Afflao always loves to play mad hard against NY since they grew up close to eachother and went to rival skools. Weve also had mad success with the team ball and I think everyone is starting to feel like its there time to shine so NY could either go for 30-40 and we look great or he can look like a hog, our chemistry can go back to crap as everyone goes indvidual again, and we get smoked.

I think weve found our rythm and will play well while NY puts up numbers in this uptempo game. I look for the backcourt to play really well tonight

going with the 3-guard again. i don't think this will be as effective this time around.

also, Mozgov is a white, plodding, off-the-bench euro-center. this pretty much guarantees a double-double for him and 22mins for Mcgee.
