I was reading the other day (I wish I could remember where because it seemed fairly credible) that there was indeed some league wide interest in Beas and the Wolves wouldn't have to end up just dumping him for very little. It suggested that they could even get a pretty serious piece for a Beas and Ridnour package...in the right deal of course.

I keep thinking Utah might be a match. They are looking to move Devin Harris and sure up the PG position. Ridnour and Beasley for one of their extra bigs maybe? I am thinking Favors, something along those lines.

I couldn't help, but ponder the idea of a Love-Jefferson reunion. It would seem most unlikely, but I couldn't resist at least giving it some thought.

Al and Love reunited?!? Noooooooo...... I realize Jefferson is so far better than Darko you can't even imagine comparing the two, but in the 10 minutes of ball I saw last night I thought my dog was going to get sucked into the black hole that is Al Jefferson.

I have precious little love for Devin Harris, but if you could make a move for Favors I do it. I just don't know that I see that kind of a deal happening. I can see Beasley in Charlotte, NOH or Dallas, but Utah doesn't seem like the brightest of prospects to me.

I think Favors is probably one of the last players they'd move, but Milsap seems like reasonable value.

We don't need him, but it might help make a good three-way trade.

I don't really want or think Al would be coming back. It just crossed my mind when I was looking over the logjam of bigs Utah had.

Also, I had no intentions of acquiring Devin Harris. Just pointing out that they are looking to go another direction at the PG position so Luke could be of value... theoretically

Hasn't Milsap been the Jazz's best player this year?

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

Yeah I don't really know what to make of their frontcourt situation other than there is too much talent and not enough minutes. Someone's gotta go, right?

I imagine they drafted Kanter with the idea that he is their future Center, not the guy they'd be trading. Personally, I'd view Millsap as the guy you know can be effective coming off the bench. Leaving Al and Favors to battle it out as the 4 man and the odd man out. In a deal with us, I would imagine Favors would be the target.

...that was at least the logic behind me landing on Favors in this scenario.

Trying to gauge how they value players over on the Utah board didn't give me much. They wouldn't trade CJ Miles and Devin Harris for Tyreke Evans and Jimmer Fredette OR Gordon Hayward for Demar Derozan. So they MIGHT do Raja and Al for Love and Rubio haha

Yes, but Milsap, for whatever reason, has never been their direction. They've kept him around because he's a good player, but they talk about how Favors looks next to Al, and soon Kanter. Heck, when I looked at UTA's stats, their #3 scorer right now is Josh Howard.

Maybe their great start will have them more oriented towards winning and keeping Milsap over Favors? I hope?

You guys have a tremendous amount of talent that's just sagging on your roster. Guys that could make it with some direction and leadership from a guy like Kobe...

Beasley is the one though that needs direction the most. His talent is exceptional. There really isn't a PF in the game today that should be able to defend his skill set.
