It starts up top with management man, our team isn't built to play his system yet. So I'm not blaming him yet. We have too many holes in our roster.

Anyway nice win for the Magic.

Sorry dude, but Brown's system is just piggybacking his stars. He had a colossal meltdown in Cleveland, the east was there's for the taking.

I'm a big Kobe fan, he's one of my favorite players not on the magic, but you and I both know from watching kobe that when he puts up monster numbers its sweet and entertaining but it doesn't always correlate with a championship

i still respect pau's game a lot and bynum is solid, if they bring the Triangle offense back and bring in Boris Diaw to play the Odom role, the lakers will be on the top of the west again

good game

Howard is 25 points away from being the all-time Magic franchise scorer going into Boston on Monday.

I am going to the Celtics game on Monday too!
I like this team

I don't think anyone said that individually either Gasol or Bynum could match Howard's production. But lets not get excited over one game in which both LA bigs had an off night.

LA had no one that could guard Howard on single coverage, aside from Bynum and he was in foul trouble for most of the night. When Howard was defended by Bynum, he struggled (about 2/10). The rest of howard's made baskets were when Bynum was on the bench or when the ORL guards would penetrate forcing Bynum to help leaving Howard open for the dunk or tip-in.

Y'know, it's too bad all teams don't have the determination that you do....

Famous Laker quotes from their game thread:

No disrespect to the Lakers fan base as this was done all in fun. I read through your whole thread and nobody really trashed the Magic players, only your own. And, in the end some gave us respect. I respect your board for that.

Saved the best for last. I think the Lakers need to take a flyer on Gilbert Arenas. Lakers are hurting at PG worst than the Magic.

Hopefully Bynum kills Dwight tonight to raise up his trade value =)

Howard needs to help us out and play like a wuss. Let Bynum win the match-up handily and you just upped your chances of becoming a Laker. ;)

Hmm, I wonder which sign he was referencing. (8:06pm)
I bet Howard Mass was the one with that sign.

MWP can't even guard Von Wafer.

Von wafer would be our best bench player

There's no way Howard wants to come here

jrich trying to give me a heart attack diving at drew's legs like that.

Jason was willing to do a solid for Orlando and kill any possible deal so they can stay together for another run

H
oward would make Ft's against us

Just wants to show how much he outclasses our two "great" bigs on both ends

Anyone notice the friendly tap from Dwight to mcroberts after the hard foul. Seems to me Dwight doesnt want to cause any tension with future teammates.

Or am I reaching too much...

Lakers making Chris Duhon look like Chris Paul.
Can't help but to LMAO

big Baby just put one of our bigs in the spin cycle ... SMH

It comes down to sort of use an analogy from Tex. Tex once said there are basketball players and guys who play basketball, which is a major difference. Dwight is an athlete who is big, and Andrew is a big who is athletic.

Dwight can stay on the floor every night for over 40 minutes. He can rebound, show on every pick and roll, challenge every shot, run the court, band, face doubles, get hit, and keep coming. Andrew can't do the same because he is not an athlete like him. He can't run as hard in the 2nd quarter as he does in the first let alone the fourth. He can't log over 30 minutes without talking about his legs being tired in public, tugging at his shorts, or his tongue wagging. That is why Dwight is, was, will be, and has proven to be the better player throughout the life of his career, and why any team would love to build around Dwight

I hope this game shuts up any Laker fan that thought Bynum was anywhere near Dwight

Well least I can let howard go, he has a better team over there

It's becoming increasingly clear the the best team for Howard is right here.

desperation of Lakers fans amuse me.

Some of them are acting like that Hollywood stereotypical rich kid whose parents are about to be bankrupted. He sees that it is coming fast and hard. He notices nothing will be handed to him anymore, so he gets pissed off and starts throwing unfounded and baseless threats in hopes of getting his way.To no avail.

You know he cries in the walk-in closet when nobody is looking.

Hey BMP, you know who those Laker fans sound like? Us.

I thought for sure that thread would be full of "Dwight just showing off for us so we have the incentive to pull the trigger on it!" Or something like that.

LMAO. As I was going through their thread from the beginning, I intended to look for good quotes, but I couldn't help thinking the same exact thing the whole time. It was exactly like visiting the Magic Game Threads. hehehe.

There was not one post that said Dwight was showing off or trying to look good for a trade.

Lakers will be fine over the years. They can always be a top 10 team. They can't be top dog every year.

I thought he was going to say that the Magic have to trade Howard immediately before he breaks Nicks record.

Great win!!!! We dominated from start to finish! Dwight was beastly again. Ryan had some terrific defensive moments and made big shots. Jameer waking up from his self imposed coma was a good sign.

He missed the Spurs game with back spasms, assuming that carried over to the LAL game. Doubt he's out long.
