IF we lose, this could possibly be D'Antoni's last game as Knicks coach. I don't like rooting for my team to lose but if thats what it takes for D'Antoni and his brothers/uncles/cousins to get ousted outta NY, well then GO DENVER!

I have a feeling Lawson is going to drop his career high tonight especially if our " switch at all costs" defense is still in our gameplans..

Just read that Nene will play tonight.

I thought we would win this game but now thinking about it more, i'd be surprised if we did.

The issue tonight won't be IF we lose--by all accounts it's likely we will since Denver is hot and we are in a huge funk--the issue will be if we compete. It's one thing to lose to a good team, another to come out with no fire and desire which should get the coach canned at this point, Baron or no Baron. If the players have tuned out the coach Baron isn't going to help that.

I still think that a lot of players besides Amar'e do not buy into D'Antoni, do not particularly like him, and this goes back to when Billups and Melo were tag-teaming him last year about the need to emphasize defense while Stat was saying exactly what he's saying now: "Guys just need to buy into the system".

When Chauncey was amnestied he said in a moment of angry honesty that he thought the Knicks were still a few pieces away from being a championship contender, "but wouldn't say what those missing pieces are." I think one of those he was talking about is the coach. I think Melo feels the same way.

i think tonight will be a goodnight for the knicks to be honest with you. not sure howmany back-2-back games the knicks have played this seasons but i'm thinking 0, back to back games should benefit the knicks because they will be able to carry what they did from yesterdays game directly to this game. it sounds confusing but i think this is the perfect scenario for the knicks to get a win
