I disagree...for the ammount of value we gave up for Melo and considering Den's success, we lost on that one.

melo was outplayed by one of the guys in the trade.. the guy whom most said was easily replaceable..

In fairness to Melo, the dude is nursing a few injuries while Gallo is perfectly healthy.

Look a good coach wins with this team period. Pringles is not a good coach. you would expect this team to have defensive issues but really they can't freaking score no ball movement and play stupid.
THAT is coaching. Mello and Amare then Amre disappears and is frozen out of the game for two periods? How the f does a good coach let that happen sit the people not passing the fing ball morn.
Just fire him please

And to BBALLER4FR wtf are you talking about. I just know with no Melo in this game there's no OT. Not his fault his teammates are afraid to shoot and Amare has no nut sack

the bench built the double digit lead with him ON the bench in the 1st half. it vanished when he came back in.

And at one point when Melo was in the game we were up by 8 when he went to the bench we were down by 5. So what you saying? I swear you guys don'tthink before ya'll post

You mean after he already killed momentum with his BS iso ball? Yeah. We were struggling before he went to the bench.

Unacceptable that Amare didn't shoot in 4th or OTs... MDA needs to go off that alone.

Knicks ran plays when he actually passed or when he wad not on the floor.

Its who he was, who he is, and will always be

30 shots for Melo is ridiculous, but what's Melo going to do if D'Antoni just keeps calling his # and doesn't even bother calling any plays for the team to run?

The inability for this clown of a coach to hold Melo accountable is exacerbating the problem.

Exactly. It was clear today that Melo was calling his own number. They started the game with ball movement and then Melo started calling for the ball and ISOing endlessly. The coaches don't call that play. Melo does.

KnicksFTW wrote:Melo didn't do us a favor by going off in the fourth. He only temporarily stopped the bleeding. The reason why we were in the game is because of ball movement.

Do you guys know why Douglass and Fields and Walker have no confidence?! ITS because Melo and Stat don't believe in them. When do they ever pass the ball or try to play as a team. They think its only about them and take it upon themselves.

As much as I hate LeBron, he makes his teammates better because when one of the best players in the world trust you to make good decisions, you're confidence just skyrockets.

We were such a good ball moving team Pre-Melo because Amare would pass the ball to Gallo who'd swing it to Felton or Chandler and such and we get buckets and clutch shots by guys like Fields.

Sigh, its sad because this is an internal problem and we just have to wait it out. Baron Davis as a veteran point guard will make these players better because he will trust them not guys like Melo.

I hope you're right, but it's hard to believe in Baron Davis as a purveyor of good basketball.
