And our lucky charm for this one is....

Well, guys, we just had a heartbreaker against the Wolves. It was the players' faults for poor decision making, so let's hope that changes this Sunday! The Raptors are on a 7 game losing streak, so let's hope we're not the ones that change that and give them a win. Chris Paul and Caron should hopefully be back for this one, and I've heard Bargnani and Bayless have good chances of coming back from their injuries to play in this game, too.

The key matchup should be between Ed Davis And Blake. For some reason, Ed likes playing against Blake.

Ed: averaging 17pts 13reb 2ast
Blake: averaging 22pts 16reb 4ast

areg my dude, you give us a lucky charm and provide no name!? :(

Nice thread btw

Seriously I don't know what to feel about Billups, he's a terrible decision maker at times, a bit turnover prone, but then he bails us out with random 3's, I just don't know. At the end of the day he is playing like a shooting guard so I don't know, I just miss CP3.

Haha, my bad, I forgot about that. The name's under the pic now 8-), and thanks. But ya, I agree with the whole Billups situation. He just starts chucking up shots sometimes when there's time left on the clock and him taking it in against Rubio last night with time remaining for the Wolves to win it was another bad decision. Hopefully, CP3 returns soon!

CP3 should be good to go for this one. Not sure about Caron though. This is a must win. No excuses for this one whatsoever.

We need CP more than Caron. I really want to see Blake get his usual 20/10 plus knock down all his FT's and DeAndre has to be a factor on O & D meaning pts/rebs need to be in the double digits. Anything less is unacceptable.

I hope the loss to Minny sparks something in us. That's not a knock on the Wolves, but to completely let a game slip away that they shouldn't have is not going to cut it.

We should be ready to play hard in this one. Having Chris Paul will definitely help. He should be well rested and with that Twolves loss the team should be ready to play.

I don't think I'll be posting during the game but I will be paying attention to what goes on. Don't let me down Clippers.
I've been an LA Clipper fan since 1998 and that will never change. I hate our new logo and jerseys!

Key Matchup: Blake Griffin vs. Blake Griffin

Blake is shooting around 40% for 15ppg over the last three games. Can he overcome his shooting problems?

Paul not playing today - I suppose VDN feels that this team can easily handle the Raptors without him. I guess it sort of evens it's way out, considering Eric Gordon has been injured for quite a while in New Orleans.

12 fouls to 1? Seriously? DJ is 1 rebound shy of a double double through the first quarter?

27-11 Clippers after 1. I'm glad to see that Caron is back. Hopefully we can keep a sizable lead, but that's far from guaranteed imo.

The Raptors got within 7 before the Clippers re-extended the lead to 13.

7 fouls called against the Clippers in the 2nd quarter. After the absurd disparity in the 1st, it's more balanced out. I didn't see most of the 1st, so I'm not saying that the refs are doing make-up calls, but it is interesting how different things have been.

49-37 Clippers at the half. DJ has as 12 & 13 and a pair of blocks. He's had a few mental lapses, but has been on point for the most part. It's great to have Caron back. He has 15. He's hit a few jumpers, got a dunk or 2 and he's blocking shots like DJ. I'd say his knee is feeling fine. Mo hasn't been the Mo of the last couple of games, but has been the only source of bench scoring for us with 5. On the flip side, 24 of Toronto's points have come from the bench. DeRozan has put up 10, while Amir Johnson and Ed Davis have the other 3.

Pretty meh basketball so far.

They went to that 2-2-1 or 2-1-2 zone in the 2nd quarter and we didn't know what the heck we should do with it.

I also don't really like Chauncey as the main point guard, as he's pretty turnover prone so far for us.

Though, we should try to make a run now to put them away in the third and save some legs of our starters.
