2. Charlotte 3-13(big Shock..MJ is in charge)
3. New Orleans 3-13(We need Eric Gordon to come back fast--we want to a sign a guy who is always hurt?)
4. Toronto 4-13(I am really worried about them--they suck and have less talent than wizards---we even blew them out
5. Detriot(4-13)..I am really worried about them too. Joe Dumars most overrated GM of all time?
6. New Jersey(5-12)...i was the most worried about them when season started but they get Lopez back soon and Marshon Brooks was a great pick. They should be safe.
7. Goldent State(5-10)--when they get Curry back..i wont be too worried. Mark Jackson still wants to make the playoffs
8. Sacramento 6-10--was worried about them too but coaching change helped as Cousins has picked it up but they could still go an epic losing streak.

I am mostly worried about Charlotte,Toronto and Detroit. the game with Charlotte Wed is EPIC

NOH is better than their record, they have lost a bunch of close games. NOH at-least has a decent front-lin and Jarret Jack has been playing well.

Yup. Ever since the debacle at Philly, we've been in every game. In our last 5 games:

Lost vs. PHI by 13
Lost vs. HOU by 8
Won vs. OKC by 3
Lost vs. DEN by 4
Lost vs. BOS by 6

Now granted, all were home games, but the competition was pretty good except for Boston. There is reason to believe that this team is making the turn from historically bad, to merely run-of-the-mill bad. I think Charlotte is going to end up with a worse record.

I don't know, I don't want to be at 6 and looking at a board featuring Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist, Robinson, Sully and Drummond off the board. I want top 4 to lock in Davis, Kidd-Gilchrist or Robinson (with Sully as a fall back), if we slide to 6, we could be looking at the type of guys that would give us nightmares guys like Drummond or Perry Jones III, or Barnes, guys with low ceilings and/or high bust potential. Yikes. Would much rather have hard working, highly motivated smart guys like Kidd-Gilchrist and Robinson and in a worst case scenario Sully, or a best case scenario of Davis.

Charlotte will improve as well. Walker and Biyombo are going to be very solid....and Henderson is showing some signs.

If those three continue to improve, along with Silas I could see them going on a small run. They played the Bulls pretty close last week.....Biyombo/Walker were very good picks.

The good thing is that Flip is being a good tank commander. Some of the games we've lost were very winnable, but Flip does very dumb thinks down the stretch i.e. giving Blatche big minutes in the 4th.

If anyone is still asking why Blatche is getting big minutes... this is it. It's the only way Flip can keep us losing games.

True, and I was also thinking "why should they tank since they owe their pick to the Bulls"?

But the pick that they owe to CHI is heavily protected until 2016. So they can still reap the benefits of tanking. And for this draft specifically, they could use any of the PF/SFs that are at the top. MJ also hasn't been shy about making deadline deals and that could also impact their record down the stretch. Definitely don't count them out IMO.

I look at it as compensation for the '09 and '11 drafts of the 1st and 3rd horror years being so brutal, hopefully we get some luck in the lotto.

I am starting to believe in the power of Flip as a tank commander. I wouldn't have thought he had it in him before now. But in a short season, with Dray coming into camp out of shape again and with Pam the crazy soccer mom under the basket every game. Yeah, a tank my be the best thing to do.

Coaching and system matter but you could have put MJ out there with almost any coach and he still would have won. Talent can cover up for a lot. And if you get the right talent, they will pretty much lead themselves and gang together. Like they did in OKC.
