I have a feeling the streak stops here, but I'm impressed we stole two out of what i thought was gong to be a winless trip. Hope Keef is feeling better and we stick with the new lineup

BREAKING: Mavs coach Rick Carlisle says Dirk Nowitzki will be out at least four games to work on his conditioning.

Good news I guess? 3-2 on this road trip would be good.

Exactly how does not playing in games improve your conditioning? I'm sure he is just going to be sitting on the bench in street clothes during the game, so I don't see how that helps. Keep playing in games and with this schedule it shouldn't take long to get in shape

Lol I was joking that Dirk would probably out against us a week ago with our streak vs teams without their best player. This is unreal, I've never seen anything like it.

We are getting pretty damn lucky. Rose, Rondo, Dirk.

I blame it on David Stern!! He's telling the owners not to play their best players so the Suns don't have a chance at a top 5 pick.

Screw you stern!!

Think about it, during this road trip we will have played against all 5 teams who were missing KEY players.

Spurs; Ginobili
Bulls; Rose
Knicks; Davis (this probably shouldn't count though since he hasnt played all season but still)
Celtics; Rondo
Mavs; Nowitzki

We'll probably play the second game against them without Dirk too, right?

Isn't playing basketball the best way to work on conditioning for a starter? I understand it for a bench player like Redd, but Dirk has already played 16 games.

That is really strange.

Maybe he is just trying to avoid the punishment that "The Hammer" dishes.

Odom will have a big game...Marion too...Haywood could have 15 rebs easy...ugh

Terry ALWAYS kills us. Just double Terry/don't leave him open like every team always seems to, and don't go small with Odom, and we should win.

Beaubois will probably drop 15-20 as well

Ugh?

So you say Terry will kill us, Odom will have big game, Marion will have big game, Haywood would get 15 rebounds, and Beaubois will drop 20pts - yet Suns will still manage a way to win?

Hoping the Suns win, so at least something good happens today. Getting laid off really ruins a day.
