Hi Guys,
I am neither a Wizards fan nor do I live in the US (i.e., I don't have regular access to NBA games on TV). That being said, I was wondering if someone could explain to me why the Wizards have been sucking these last few years? I mean, an obvious answer might be lack of talent, but I always had a feeling that guys like Blatche and McGee passed the eyeball test. Are there specific players who are screwing over the team? Or is it a team 'effort'? I know this probably will sound like trolling and I apologize, but I am just curious; I would think that this team would be playing better than it currently is (but again I know very little about the team and its players).
Thanks a lot.

Re: Question from an Outsider
Horrible coaching from Flip Saunders, lethargic effort by Blatche during the season and his lazy offseasons, as well as the overall low basketball IQ of the team is the reason it sucks.

Didn't we just get this question like 2 weeks ago? Of course, two weeks of suckocity have transpired in the meantime, so perhaps it was time for an update.

Re: Question from an Outsider
You can say this is sort of a euphemism for the current state of the Wizards. In the offseason Flip Saunders gave Andre Blatche a book on leadership. Blatche publicly stated during training camp that he read half of it and put it down. A week later Blatche is named captain of the team and Wizards don't say anything about Blatche's comments.
Now what that really says is Blatche is an ***hole and Flip is an even bigger ***hole for letting Blatche be an ***hole and supporting it. Also the players run the Wizards organization and it doesn't go the other way at all.

Pfft, Blatche probably read a couple paragraphs.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.
