Kings @ Portland (7:00)

Post#1 » by ADoaN17 » Mon Jan 23, 2012 10:34 pm

Since defeating the Sacramento Kings last month, the Portland Trail Blazers have come up short each time when completing a back-to-back set. Now they'll get a chance to see how they fare during their first back-to-back-to-back.

The Kings are 2-8 away from home, getting outscored by an average of 24.0 points in the defeats. Their point total last month in Portland was their third-lowest in 56 visits there since relocating from Kansas City in 1985.

The Blazers (9-7), though, have dropped their last four - the last three by a combined eight points - when playing the second game of a back-to-back. Portland had a chance to change that Saturday after LaMarcus Aldridge had 33 points and a career-best 23 rebounds in Friday's 94-84 victory at Toronto, but it lost 94-91 to lowly Detroit to cap a 2-4 trip.

Portland is on their final game of their back-to-back-to-back. Hopefully the Kings come out running.

Kings lose by 15+, after the niners loss I have no faith in my favorite sports team....

@James_Ham
Salmons in, Thornton out for tonight. Sounds like another start for Jimmer.

Tyreke/Thomas
Jimmer/Garcia
Salmons/Greene
JT/JJ/Greene
Cuz

Maybe Honeycutt can get some minutes tonight instead of Outlaw.

Bet Honeycutt gets 2-3 min max unless blowout.

Catching them on a back to back to back might get us the win. Unless we *fumble* the ball.. ohhh

To be honest I think we will look a lot better this time around. Last time we were working with zero offense and now we have a bit of ball movement. Also we have had a bit of success with the Zone which I think would work very well on a team that is used to get a decent bit of their points in the mid range. Also we have improved our transition defence which is where they killed us last game.

I think those Improvements make this a much closer game than last time and we may even win.

I like Greene on Wallace. I don't think Greene played last time.

There we go Jimmer in the catch and shoot, that's how he's supposed to be used!

These refs are gullible as ****. How do you really belive Isaiah can push Craig Smith across the floor?

Can we amnesty Salmons already? Smart's faith in the man is hurting the team. Salmons is done. It's a wrap.
