People holding on to hope of this team actually winning anything this year are just becoming laughable.

Orlando played a horrible game, it doesn't mean that they don't respect their opponents, it was just one of those games.

Jameer sucks right now but he's got no trade value. I think we're stuck with him. Although it might be better just to ditch him for nothing. I don't know. He's Dwights friend which is probably effecting his play. Its a tough one.

Oh I mean, fire Stan Otis disembowel Nelson eat soup from J-Rich's skull and so forth and such and such.
They had the entire weekend off, no practice, and no shootaround. Not an excuse.
Not saying it wasn't a brutal loss, but 56 points scored screams anomaly to me.

that Jameer quote is probably the worst game related quote I've seen in sports... asking your opponent to not try so hard is inexcusable. wow.

What starting PG says that to the backup PG of another team? smh
My oh my. That says enough about Jameer. I really think he is done. How embarrassing is this this? Ok Otis you need to move Jameer even if it's for some fries and nuggets. That's the last straw. I can't defend a player who begs for mercy.

So does everyone still think its worth keeping Howard around this year for a "championship run"?
With our inconsistency (which probably comes from having a team of shooters) can we honestly see ourselves beating MIA or CHI in 7 games?

There is no need to panic. The loss was horrible and believe me I want to punch a wall right now, but it only costs as one loss. We have to take this on the chin and take our anger on the Pacers which will be a very tough game. We get a chance to extract revenge on Boston on Thursday and I for one am looking forward to the challenge of this team fighting adversity.
For the people claiming they don't want to be Magic fans anymore cause of this loss, just calm down. The funny thing is if we beat the Pacers and Celtics this week, everything will go back to roses and sunshine again...

Could this be the game that's so bad it doesn't even deserve a dunce cap thread?

I didn't see it before this game, and don't see it after. The Magic are what they are: a 50-win team and 1st or 2nd round out. Getting slaughtered on the road against Boston in January changes nothing.

Oh this game definitely deserves a dunce cap thread. It's one thing to just miss shots and the other team hitting everything, but there was no effort, no fight, etc. You could be right though, everything was so awful, what's the point of of making a dunce cap thread...

Re: Magic(11-4) @ Celtics(5-9)
Nelson hasn't been right since the start of the playoffs last year. As for asking should we keep Howard for a championship run? I don't know what can happen over a course of a season and playoffs, anything can happed, good or bad but you don't make that decision based on an anomaly. Orlando have shown all season that they can score more than 56 points. Everyone was horrible tonight it was just one of those games. If it becomes a pattern then you panic. There are other patterns that we should be weary of; Nelson, Redick and Anderson haven't shown up against stronger opponents.

Yep same here, I didn't see it before either and I think it is stupid to keep Howard around and 'hope he doesn't walk'. We need to get value now so we can start building

We started off with a 2nd rounder. Then with a large beer, then a small beer.....then moonshine....then rubbing alcohol, cow **** is a fair deal though.

Redick didn't start tonight

J-Rich needs to kick rocks.....Too inconsistent and virtually brings nothing to the table that Redick can't emulate
