Gotta agree with this. We must be really desperate...

I live in LA and watch a lot of Clippers games. Mo Williams is on a rampage. With CP3 out he is starting and carrying the offense most of the time. Billups is the main playmaker, but Mo can flat out score. With Turk running the offense Mo would be a major offensive upgrade to Meer. Plus he's much bigger and an above average defender. It would take J Rich. But I'd move him in a second with Duhon and a 2nd rounder for Williams and Foye

I think JRich+Duhon for Williams+Foye doesnt work in terms of sallary, but i'd trade both for Mo alone too.

I like the idea of Hedo running the point while having Mo and JJ as starters playing SG role.

What we really need is a play maker, Orl has enough scorers. I'm probably gonna get some hate but I would like to have Calderon's playmaker abilities instead of a scorer like Mo.

Per Broussard:
he thinks a trade of Howard and Anderson for Blake Griffin and DeAndre Jordan should work. Thoughts?

How far do you think we would go with BG and DeAndre based that LAC was 32-50 last year? Maybe we wouldnt even make the playoffs. Its the same as trading D12 for Love + Milicic.

On paper both deals are OK, but when you see Wolves and Clippers' team with these players, you can see that we wouldnt go far, or not?

No, I'm just telling that even having great stats (BG and Love) and maybe even better than D12's they dont have the same impact as Howard. A lot of people says that doesnt want to trade D12 for players that would place us in 7th/8th range like Gasol/Bynum, Lopez/Picks, etc, and thats what BG would make for us.

Clearly he doesnt suck. Blake is a scorer and rebounder but he should be a better defender. He's right there with Jrich under the "He should be a better defender based on his athleticism" group of guys. but it's still early and offensively he looks like a player to build around but I think he needs to take a few steps forward defensively in order to be considered better than let's say kevin Love or Bosh.

That is the ONLY trade i would make for howard

Blake Griffin might not be as good as howard, but hes better than anything else we would get in return and would give us a guy we can lean on to win game. Plus for management, he would put fans in the seats and would sell jerseys.

We could be big players in the 2013 FA, where, ironically, Monta Ellis is a Free Agent.

An Ellis/Griffin core? I like.

compared to options of Bynum or Brook Lopez, it's a definite front runner.

if the Nets somehow pulled the #1 pick in the draft, though, and were prepared to offer that with Lopez then i'd probably be inclined to take that. but either deal would be a great core to build around.

Yeah, either one would be incredible.

I saw somewhere that this 2012 Draft Class is shaping up to become the next 2003 Draft Class (The class where Lebron, Wade, Melo, Bosh, etc....). I wonder if there is any truth to that.

If so, it'd be hard to pass that up.
