We hoped he might develop some more, but it appears that's just not going to happen.

He needs good players around him to make him look good. To give him the ball in the perfect spots and allow him to just run around like an idiot. But in a low skilled team like ours where we need him to deliver something more, he just flat out sucks.

We're stuck with this bum.

this is a good point. tyrus would look better on a team where he can just be an energy guy.

that being said, i want to see bonnell ask some hard questions about tyrus. something is wrong with him. he looks like he lost 20 lbs over the summer and he is playing like trash. how long is the rope that silas is giving him? his 4 good energy plays a game cant make up for the fact that he cant score, cant dribble, cant pass, cant rebound and cant defend one v one.

he is no better of a player now than he was as a rookie. i cant believe we are stuck with him and his awful contract for the next few years. AND THEN the real pain will hit when we lose a lottery pick for him in a few years. because lets face it, this team isnt going to the playoffs any time soon. there is NOBODY in the draft next year that will make us a playoff team.

I pray he is gone by the time we have a good roster but like Bonnel said:

@MiquelCS7 Don't see them firing Silas. Why pay someone else to coach this team?

This ain't no tank. Tanks have wheels at least. This is like a submarine falling into the Mariana trench.

Some good news to report from the game. Reggie Williams looked really good shooting the ball before warm ups tonight. I always get to the game really early to watch the guys shoot around. Reggie was shooting with Chris Whitney. They were shooting baseline 3's, except out of bounds. Reggie was drilling them with ease. They they moved right in front of Paul Silas's seat on the bench and started knocking them down. These shots were right in front of the bench out of bounds. I can't wait to get a real shooter like him out there.

Hendo and Matt also were shooting 3's together, the more conventional way, inbounds. Anyway, Hendo shot much better than Matt. I noticed Hendo seemed to be really working on getting more arc on his 3's.

While most of the guys were working on their games, Boris stood at half court and talked to someone on the Knicks staff and while eating a Twinkie. Well, the Twinkie part is not confirmed, but he was not working. He does look fatter to me though.

Biz is always out there before every game working with coaches on post moves and hand eye drills. He works too. He has a nice bead going before he changes into uniform. Good to see.
