The Lakers are coming off of a 3 game losing streak, are trailing us in the division race (they are 10th in the West as of today), and are looking for a little payback after the last meeting between the two teams. They'll be motivated. They went through their first full contact practice since the season began today. Our recovering players also were able to practice today, so it's going to be a test for both teams. We're looking for a road win after starting the season off 1-3 with only the opener against the Warriors to our credit so far. Next month, 9 of our 14 games will be on the road, so we need to get comfortable winning games when we're not in front of our home crowd. Hopefully our guys bring the needed intensity and that Paul's hammy is ready to play.

Melissa Rohlin has nothing on Madelyn Burke though

I like the way that our guys are handling the questions. Our guys are thinking about the present and the future. Fisher and others are bringing up the past. The majority of them weren't even here (DJ is the longest tenured Clipper), so what has happened prior to them being here should not be much of a concern to them at this present time. The Clipper players are not getting overly worked up about anything and they shouldn't be getting bent out of shape. Griffin does draw legitimate charges. He also sells contact and flops. However, in the last game against the Lakers, it was Barnes that was flopping. Aside from that, he shouldn't criticize floppers like that when he's playing next to a couple of big ones himself.
