But that's neither here nor there right now, we just had a great win over a great team, let's focus on that. I was just wondering if anyone else had heard it.

I disagree on that one as it does seem that he genuinely loves his teammates and has been impressed on how resilient they have been so far this season. That is at least the vibe I get when I see him. Bottom line, all we need to do is keep on winning and playing hard and we give ourselves a chance. Just have to be patient.

Normally I'd agree, but he did ask for a trade. I realize we have been winning a lot since then, but to formally come out and ask for a trade leads me to believe that he had already made up his mind. If we had obliged, he'd be gone already.

I'm sure he can be swayed. But, let's leave that for tomorrow, though. Tonight was needed.

Being 100% honest, I kind of took that stutter in his speech as a good thing. I thought that's how he was actually feeling at the moment, but didn't want to say that and have to be questioned more about his trade request tomorrow. Who knows, though.

Plenty of stars have asked for trades in the NBA. Sometimes it happens, other times it hasn't. This is more his agent trying to move his client, not the other way around. The reason why I remain confident is because he genuinely does seem to care about this team which is why he has done what is necessary to patch things up with Stan and I honestly think he has been caught off guard with the early success of this team which is making him think twice a bit.

One thing that we agree on and that is the important part is that he most certainly can be swayed. He is human after all. We as fans just need to focus on this season. It is turning out to be a fun one and it is certainly going to be interesting to see how this does end.

I agree. 4 years ago my favorite player in the world (I'm sure I'm gonna catch some flack for this) asked for a trade, and then completely backed off of it.

In these last couple of years, this league has shown us that anything can happen. 2 years ago, if someone came on here and said that Lebron would team up with Wade and Bosh in Miami, Deron Williams would get traded to the Nets, we would trade for Glen Davis, Carmelo and Amare would team up in NY, and Chris Paul would actually want to join the Clippers, they would have been mocked endlessly.

You never know what can happen.

I think Kobe was locked up though when he asked for a trade. It's not like the Lakers were going to lose him regardless of his "request". Dwight can actually walk in 6 months.

it's odd that Stan has a PG on his team, yet he opts to run the plays through his 6th man SG... i have a feeling Stan wouldn't be too upset if Duhon was shipped out.

Anderson and Clark played nicely. In fact, the whole team was displaying moments of great chemistry.

Nelson and JRich were well rested for tomorrow night's game too.

And yes, Redick was doing a nice job playing Point-2Guard and running the offense off of high screens, especially in the 2nd half. In short spurts, it's nice to see.

I was really happy with Earl's hustle and energy tonight. Let's hope he shows up again against Boston.

I remember back in 2009 Stan would roll with a CLee and JJ backcourt for stretches. Especially, when you got Hedo in the game. JJ is quick enough to move around to find an open guy to pass to start a play.

Yeah, they kept the ball moving!... and I think Redick has improved his ball-handling and decision making a bit more the past couple years too. I feel very confident watching him come off of screens at the key or wing... he has a good feel of when to pass the ball (under the basket or to the perimeter), shoot or runner it, or drive. He has a good sense of when and where the defense collapses. As long as Hedo is out there with them just in case (so the defense doesn't pressure Redick... they would know that we have no other ball-handler on the floor if Hedo wasn't on the court and they would pressure Redick), it can definitely work for us... and so far IT HAS :)

the best thing JJ does is his drive in and short dump off to Dwight. it's the most underused pass on this team, and it puts Howard in a position where he's almost unstoppable.

it may not be the tidiest thread the needle pass, but all you need to do is get him the ball down there and he's almost automatic.
