Nuggets @ Kings GDT

Post#1 » by bibby1023 » Thu Jan 26, 2012 3:32 am

Came on here to let out some frustration, and there was no thread....it's become that bad huh?

Anyways, I don't understand how Salmons is suppose to be our best perimeter defender but has been abused by Gallinari's penetration three times in row.

Jimmer's confidence has carried over to this game, best player on the floor for our team in this first quarter.

Tyreke and John need to sit on the bench, each guy is just fouling up the offense and not playing any defense.

No ones really playing defense, 32 points and I think 24 of those are in the paint, gotta force teams to shoot more jump shots. I thought learning how to close out was something you learned at a young age.

So Salmons is getting embarrassed by Gallinari then air-balling jumpers on the other end. Why does he play. Why. This is ridiculous to watch.

Salmonsliterally has no aspect of his game that is worth keeping him in this year, though I understand where Keith is coming from when he said just subbing guys in takes away from the depth so I at least see the method to his madness on that.

wow we have the most garbage small forwards in the entire league. salmons, greene, and outlaw should not even be in the nba. at this point i'm open to trying honeycutt. you really cannot get any worse than the three guys we have ahead of him.

So we're down by 7-8, then I use the bathroom, grab a sandwich, and it's suddenly almost 20? Only with this team...

I really am disliking this trend of jimmer going off then being forgotten on our offense the last three games.

Message to coach Smart: Use your time well. Your coaching life depends on getting a half court offense down that doesn't involve the pick and roll, and if it does, at least make it look like you might score please?

The Nuggets are forcing the Kings to play in the half court and the lack of any legitimate system is still glaring. The Kings were shooting 45% and still only had 39 points with 3 minutes to go. This team is NOT a pick and roll team. It's not a pick and roll team. It's not a pick and roll team. It's not a pick and roll team. Somebody needs to tattoo that on coaches forehead.

Oddly enough, Smart is playing a little Westball here. Strange lineups left and right. Thomas went out right before the break, come back after the break and he's back in, like WTF?

It's what happens when: a) you think you're a running team and b) your not. Which leads to c) the real running team says I don't think so and makes you play half court offense which then leads to d) the appearance that you still apparently have no half court offensive system. Back to 8 assists at the half, oh boy.

 No way, it turned to a large lead pretty quickly, didn't it? I don't know, I was really paying attention, to be honest.
