When will Kirk Hinrich play again?

Post#1 » by LAKERS_1981 » Thu Jan 12, 2012 10:13 pm

I think he can help your team big time this season. He is a hard worker and a leader. With the bad injure news i think he will get a bigger role when he will come back.
When will he come back, any news on that?

You can have him for Ebanks, that TPE, and the better of your 1st round picks this year.

There are reports that Kirk could return on the road trip. I could care less because honestly I don't see a big problem with what Pargo or Willie Green are giving. We could stand a upgrade from Pargo when he turns the ball over and things of that nature but he is Bibby like with knocking down shots when he is on and Willie has been playing well. I personally think Kirk is overkill and with Kirk people will always reach for the IQ thing even when it does not show on the court. Hopefully he looks good enough to get traded.

Kirk Hinrich should never guard or play shooting guard ever again. He's terrible at this point.

We'll see what Hinrich gives us. More size at the PG sure, but his quickness and stamina? But at the SG, all his weaknesses and his decline stands out.

I saw where he may join the team sometime during the road trip, or at least at the end, maybe.

Kirk Hinrich says he will practice tomorrow in San Antonio. If all goes well, he plans to play Wednesday at the Spurs.

“I’m excited,” he said. “It’s just a matter of how sore it will be the next day [after practice].”

Hopefully he gets traded sooner than later. Kirk is just overkill. Sloan is probably going to get cut which is not that big of a deal but Pargo is actually better than Kirk for the money. He has done good for a vet minimum player. Kirk will make $8 million and there is nothing he can do well enough off the bench to account for that pay.

I really do not think that Kirk is good for the Hawks chemistry. He has been giving things while others have been forced and pushed to earn there keeps. He was given the starting position last year when he was really no better than Teague statistically and the team actually got worse record wise when he came. Now he comes back and is given minutes of people that were playing well. This is a big mistake because he simply isn't that good. He needs to be traded ASAP.

Kirk didn't have a good first game, but that was because he was doing things he wasn't suppose to be doing in the first place, which was trying to create on offense.

Kirk's defense was fine

on offense Kirk should just do what Bibby did, not create, let Joe do all the handling, and just stand around the 3pt line and wait for set shots.

Bibby and Kirk don't do well when they are shooting on the move, but they can shoot over .400 from three if they just catch and shoot.

^^^I don't know how accurate he's been but Kirk has always been fond of that flying sideways jumper. I always question how it ever goes in, taking a shot flying parallel from where you jumped from.
