Damn, even the clippers' 12th man flops like crazy. F*** that team, I'm actually pulling for the Lakers tonight.

He missed 2 free throws. And he finished 24 and 6. Stop with the hate on Harris. Hater.

Isn't he averaging like 8 points and 4 assists per game this year?

He's been awful this year, no question about it... but why are we celebrating that? It's not like Harris was a cancer on our team.

Eric Gordon out 3-6 more weeks. My 2nd round pick, ladies and gentlemen.

Mike Trudell: World Peace said that, for a while, he got "bored" on D because it was so easy to shut guys down. Said he's out to reclaim edge.

Mmhmm, yeah...ok

I actually believe that. Artest in his prime was owning guys like Kobe and T-Mac like it was nothing.

11/22/02: T-Mac scores 13 points, breaking a 7-game streak of scoring 30+ points (and a 10-game streak of scoring 20+ points), shoots 6-19, has 5 TOs, and an overall TS% of 33.4%

1/10/03: T-Mac scores 23 points, shoots 9-22, has 6 TOs, and an overall TS% of 47.5%

3/5/03: Kobe scores 20 points, breaking a 16-game streak of scoring 30+ points, shoots 9-26, has 3 TOs, and an overall TS% of 36.6%

4/11/03: T-Mac scores 35 points, but shoots 11-32, has 2 TOs, and an overall TS% of 47.5%

That's just from the 03 season, but that was a consistent theme with Artest, and 03 was when T-Mac and Kobe both averaged 30+ ppg and were just generally destroying the rest of the league...Artest shut them down in every game he played them. T-Mac over those 3 games only averaged 23.7 ppg, as opposed to the 32.1 ppg he averaged for the season.

The most 'recent' game that you recalled was nearly 8 years ago when he was 24. Dude is 32 years old now.

I could see if he let up two or three years ago but Artest has been living off of his rep for a good 4-5+ years now and he's been adding muscle which has been making slower. Also, he's obviously getting older.

Every year he talks about how he can stop anybody and then he'll body up KD to try and prove a point and then he'll get lit up by LBJ and other players in games after that. I'm not buying it.

Go out there and prove it right now.

I was just saying, you seemed to think he was full of it when he said he got bored, because he could so easily shut people down...I think in his prime, it was true, he could pretty easily shut anyone down. He made Kobe and T-Mac his bitches.

I turned this game off in the very early 3rd to watch the Washington/Arizona State game and the Magic were still up huge!

Holy schnike's!

I did the same exact thing.

Walked away expecting it to be a blowout lol.

Celtics didn't even have Ray Allen or Rondo.

And once again, the Clippers are awarded a block instead of a goaltend.

Wow, the bias is so blatant by the refs, this is damn near fixed.

I mean how much pressure can you feel when you know you're playing 8 on 5?
It must make executing plays so much easier.

Pretty gross.

Instead of blowing a 27pt lead, the Magic are trying to lose by 27 to the 3-15 Hornets w/o Eric Gordon.

It's 60-84.

Dwight has 28/16. Redick has 9. The next highest scorer on the Magic has 5. :o

Anyone else feel bad for Mike D'antoni? The team is horribly put together with the biggest ball stopper in the NBA in Carmelo anthony and D'Antoni somehow is the one to blame. Not sure why though.

Yeah, there's almost no way to make this work. Maybe, just maybe, a good enough PG could help the situation, but they don't have that. Toney Douglass, Imam Schumpert, and Mike Bibby are all pretty average to below average PGs. And I don't think that Baron Davis, at this point in his career, is going to help much either.

BTW Billy Walker is putting on the most awful passing display I've ever seen.

Nah, D'Antoni isn't a good coach. The Knicks being this bad might not be his fault and he shouldn't be blamed for it entirely, but he's not a good coach.

Oh man, I'm sorry but I want to gloat a little.

I pretty much called this with the Knix, although to be on the up and up I didn't think they would be this comically bad, but I figured an around .500 team.

There's a lot of season left, but as Jeff just said, they are put together so improperly.

If we get Dwight, this is going to be epic for the next say 7 seasons. It's not even going to be a rivalry, the Knix are going to be a bottom half playoff team almost every year and we're going to be a top 3 Eastern powerhouse along with the cHeat and the Bulls.

Cleveland is going to be real good soon too as long as they land one more key player in the draft this year and make a couple underrated trades/signings over the next 3 seasons.

If it goes down like predicted I can't say how gratifying it will be to once again own the city and NYC metro area while all their fans go into suicide watch.
