I'm looking for help understanding restricted free agency:
What are the basic rules governing this under the new CBA?
What is the maximum contract a team can offer their own rfa (years and money)?
What is the maximum contract a team can offer another teams rfa(years and money)?
How many days does a team have to match an offer?
What other elements are involved?
I appreciate anyone's help.

Re: Restricted Free Agency
Max that someone can offer their own free agent is 5 years, with 7.5% raises each year. I'm not sure of the exact figure.
A team can only offer 4 years and I belive 4.5% raises to another teams RFA.
I think 72hours is how long you have to decide on matching.
