Cole gets out there and is usually the only one running. I don't know if he's supposed to spearhead the attack that way, but he isn't finishing well regardless. He's still getting to the rim, he's just gotta get those layups and runners to drop.
All the rookies this season have to deal with a compressed learning curve, and Cole probably has the fewest practices of any rookie, with this team. I'm not making excuses, Kyrie has excelled of late. However, I think Cole will learn fine on the job. If those layups drop, he's still everyone's favorite super-rookie. God knows he's missed a lot of them.

I do think he needs to work on facilitating in the halfcourt offense. Spo not putting too much on his plate early might be the reason he played like such a chucker early. I don't know, but for someone who runs the pnr well, I only see him running it with Haslem, Pittman and Howard. He needs to learn the offense, and he needs to hit his shots. He's coming up short a lot, so does that mean he needs to work on strength? PEACE.
