GT: Spurs vs. Timberwolves

Post#1 » by Nolan » Fri Jan 27, 2012 12:50 am

When: 8:00 PM ET, January 27, 2012
Where: Target Center, Minneapolis, MN

Starting Lineups:

Spurs:
PG - Tony Parker
SG - Manu Ginobili
SF - Richard Jefferson
PF - Tim Duncan
C - DeJuan Blair

Timberwolves:
PG - Ricky Rubio
SG - Wayne Ellington
SF - Derrick Williams
PF - Kevin Love
C - Darko Milicic

This is our first game of a three game road trip and its a game we need to win.

The key to winning this one is going to be containing Kevin Love. He's been a beast so far this year and we need to do our best to stop him from getting on the offensive glass and we just need to keep him out of the paint in general.

Go Spurs!!

Should be a fun game, i'm amazed at how good the Spurs still are without Manu Ginobili.

We've got a crapload of depth on the wing and our young guys are really stepping up.

Yeah we really owe it to the young guys.

Last time we lost to the wolves they shot the lights out, hopefully our defense steps up a bit and they dont sustain that kind of 3pt shooting.

I'm so happy to see Tiago being used properly and getting his. If the young guys keep it up when Manu comes back we could become a wildcard in the playoffs.

What have you guys been feeding Richard Jefferson this year?

Good game guys. Parker always seems to play well against us.

Well

Minny has improved immensely with Aldeman and Ricky is for real.

You guys have a bright future. Don't mess it up by giving Beasley a big contract.

Give Williams a chance. he is talented and he is such a hard worker .
Shaq on Duncan:SA won because of TD, a guy I could never break.I could talk trash to Ewing, get in D-Rob's face, get a rise out of Mourning, but when I went at Tim he’d look at me like he was bored and say:“Hey,Shaq, watch this shot right off the glass.”

Man has Rubio been amazing this year, always liked the kid and its great to see him doing so well in the NBA.

Tough loss but we just got outplayed by solid young team that just wanted it more.
