What makes you think the Kings would even consider this trade? It makes no sense for them to do it and they can acquire ACTUAL value for Cousins.

Hornets actively pursuing trade of Kaman. He really isn't that good, but he could be a nice piece for us.

14M salary this year. That's really all I need to say on the subject.

We have no chance to get him unless you it involves Al Horford or Josh Smith. Jason Smith would be a more realistic option but one that we probably need to do explore.

Re: Atlanta Hawks Official Trade Ideas Thread
We are one of five teams in pursue of Kenyon Martin. His representative has already spoken with the five franchises involved, which are the Hawks, Knicks, Clippers, Heat and Spurs.
Both Clippers and Knicks can offer a 2.5 salary, while the Heat can offer 1.4.
San Antonio and us are very limited because of salary cap reasons.
Martin want to play for a tittle contender where he can have a significant role.
I do not know. If we decide to ignore the cap and offer him a salary around 3/4 million, then we can get him. He would be playing big minutes, but playing the 5 a lot.
The Heat is another great option for him, but I do not think he would be playing much, as they already have Bosh, Haslem and that short 5 man I can not remember now, and also they are waiting on Curry, who could end up playing minutes in March and April.
The best option for him would be the Clippers. Nice city, nice weather, nice sport opportunity and the best salary. Of course he would be playing a lot in NYC, but no option to fight for anything.
Let's hope he choses us above all the rest, as I believe he is the only big man we will reach for. In the meantime, the Bulls waived James to open a spot for a big, when they already have Asik, Noah, Boozer and Gibson. That's a franchise doing things to get a championship.

I want to go ahead and say that this team should never even consider trading for Bogut anymore unless it's a steal, now out 8-12 weeks (possibly the rest of the regular season) this guy is just unbelievable with these injuries; and to think I was praying for a Josh Smith for Bogut trade just a year ago. smh

Hawks pass, Nash is a one year rental and although I like Gortat he is absolutely not worth Smith or Horford; a trade of Smith/Horford for Nash and Gortat wouldn't appeal to the Hawks let alone adding Kirk Hinrich who has expiring value.

Guys
I'm not say I would even do this trade ( with Josh only having one year remaining). But if we coninue play like we are now, a real center would put us over the top. Would you do this tade?
Incoming Players
DeMarcus Cousins
21 year old , 6-11, 270 lb C from Kentucky
15.0 ppg, 11.1 rpg, 0.9 apg in 29.1 minutes
J.J. Hickson
23 year old , 6-9, 242 lb F from North Carolina State
6.1 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 0.6 apg in 21.8 minutes
Outgoing Players
Al Horford
25.5 year old , 6-10, 245 lb C-F from Florida
12.4 ppg, 7.0 rpg, 2.3 apg in 31.6 minutes in 2011-2012

Well yes I'd do it but no way Sacramento does it. Cousins might be a head case, but he's a talented one. He's also got length, bulk, and more post moves than Al. If they can keep him pointed in the right direction and figure out the roster around him they'll be a perennial playoff team.

There's a rumor of a Josh Smith-Gasol deal going around with Atlanta sending extras, mostly from ESPN. Sounds like B.S.

Stephen Jackson is apparently going to be moved. Any of you interested?
Next years salary: $10,060,000
I prefer to stick with Marvin over having a reunion with SJax.

Yea I'd stick with Marvin also, Williams has been playing well for us this season and is much younger than Jackson, plus he'll be making less next year.
