Lakers fans talking about Arenas are like Heat fans talking about Bibby last year.

There are D-League PGs, available for call-ups, better than Arenas.

oh yeah? well we have at least two d-league level guards, and another that can barely move anymore, and they really arent working out. so forgive us if we feel like anything is an improvement.

The lakers have no chemistry on offense. It's just pass to kobe and let him play. If arenas doesn't work out they can bench him and lakers can go back to playing "pass to kobe and let him make plays" you can't ruin that type of offense even if you tried.

Medium Risk/Medium Reward

But the Lakers are desperate.

Why is Blake so bad?

Blake was great to start the year then he got injured and won't be back for another month.

Fisher is having his worst year as a pro, and he's had some bad ones.

The only other PG on LA's roster is Morris, who is a rookie and not ready for big minutes in a offense that no one knows how to run.

Never thought I'd say this, but some of you are overrating Fisher. He's been terrible this year, it's a miracle when he hits a layup. Arenas is definitely an upgrade over him. At the very least, he's an upgrade over Morris.

When he publicly admitted he's scared to jump because of his knee, he died as a player. Good luck LA..

Nolimit is right though... Arenas has confidence and fear issues with his knees now... quote was in the Orlando Sentinel... but I'm sure he can still put up 18/4/4 with you guys... but don't expect him to be explosive or anything
