Nice to see Myck bounces back in 2nd half. Although its funny to see him misses few attempts when he drives, he never really lay it off high on the glass

I haven't really followed Texas, so I'm not sure if it's a weakness, but I surely noticed that in his HS highlights. There was this one lay-up attempt Myck had that was so ugly today; hit the side of the rim and looked like he had absolutely no elevation at all. I really like how he paces himself controlling the tempo, though.
Basketball is like poetry in motion, cross the guy to the left, take him back to the right, he's fallin back, then just J right in his face. Then you look at him and say, "What?" - Jesus Shuttlesworth

I think I'd more DeRozan for Beal if it came down to it. He's going to be good.

Beal is definitely a good prospect, he's not one dimensional type he's capable of doing it all which I absolutely like. I think at the worst position we're in, imagine we do end up in the 6 to 10th pick, the top 5 we know are gone, PJ3 and Beal are gone, Qmiller stays in school, the only one left worth taking is River (if he declares), despite his tunnel vision and lack of defense, he's a ball dominant guy who's got good offensive skills and uses p&r really well....I'd much rather have him over Demar. Of course, I'm talking about if barnes/lamb/pj3/beal are all gone.

Miller has more passing and playmaking ability than Deng but Luol plays with more of a base on offense and defense. Miller is very easily knocked off balance. He struggles with contact and doesn't appear to have the "wiry strength" Deng had at Duke even though they share similar physiques. This won't bode well for Quincy in the pros given he operates best below the foul line, also just like Deng.

He needs to stay a year but beyond that, I think my point remains valid.

Quincy Miller has shown far more advanced footwork, a crafty high-post game and far better ball-handling. Q. Miller excels when he has the ball in his hands creating for himself unlike Deng who feeds off of his teammates. The only thing they have shown some common ground is their catch-and-shoot coming off a down-screen towards the wing.

Absolutely no similarities at all...

Not only Steely is hyping his on and off girlfriend PJ3, but he's also got a bad comparison of Qmiller. Deng is more of the shots off of screens or cuts to the rim type of player, Qmiller's game reminds me off Lamar Odom abit, dribbler & getting baskets near baseline and high post area.

I hate the comparison, but, Quincy Miller could really be what we wanted Hedo to be when we signed him. 6'10" point forward with great ball handling running the pick and roll to death.

true, he has his flaws, but yea he's got such a good feel for the game, he seems capable of knocking down the 3s, and really controls his speed well because in high school he just plays way too fast. He's also vocal and calm too (such poise). He had struggled against ranked team so I thought he was gonna struggle after 2 fouls committed in 1st half, but boy he came back tho he didn't make the clutch FT in late game (yikes).

In what fantasy world is Beal going top 5?? I think the top 5 will go on some order:

Perry Jones
Andre Drummond
Harrison Barnes
Michael Kidd Gilchrist
Anthony Davis

These are top 5 locks.

The top 5 is far from set.

Just a correction: I meant Top 5 originally, not Top 10. My fault

It's certainly not a lock. Thomas Robinson, Sullinger & Lamb could all be in the top 5 as well. It's possible that Austin Rivers makes a run at it as well, but doubtful.

There's a lot of basketball to play this season and these guys are very young and developing still..

Lol at you first mistaken it was PJ3 when someone's talking about Lebryan Nash. And now you in your own fantasy land thinking someone is talking about Beal being in top 5. Everyone knows who top 5 are. 6-9th is where Beal willl be range at.

I see MKG, Robinson and Sully fighting for the 5th spot. Lamb should be 3rd or 4th.

PJ3 is in my top 5. I see the star potential and I hope the coach can coach the inconsistency out of him.

I see Avery Johnson as a guy who can toughen up PJ3. Also PJ3 needs to have the ball in his hand to be effective, he's not a great off-ball guy yet he's not a ball-dominant guy, too unselfish at times.

If Lamb makes it in the top 5, it'll be due to Barnes dropping
