What's great is that there's people scattered across this world who happened to be in Vegas that one night and got berated with talk of a "Harangutan". They must still tell stories to their friends about the bizarre Charlotte Hornets jersey wearing lunatic they met.

65-year-old Celtic fan here from New Jersey.
My claim to fame is watching, on TV, Bill Russell's first NBA game. I can still picture him knelling in front of the scorer's table while waiting to get into the game.
For me, there was nothing like the rivalry between the Celtics and the Philadelphia Warriors of the 1960's.
My favorite game has to be the triple OT game against the Suns. My second is the night Leon Powe destroyed the Lakers.
I have far too many favorites to try to fit into a 15-man roster: Havlicek #1, Russell, Heinsohn, Cousy, Frank Ramsey, JoJo White, Cowens, Bailey Howell, Paul Silas, Paul Westphal plus all the usual suspects from the past 20 years.

Watched my first Celtics game on television back in 1986, probably the best Celtics team I ever saw play. Grew addicted and became a fan.

It was downhill from there.

With the advent of the Internet I was able to follow the C's more closely. Televised games became more common here, too. I made a promise I still intend to keep to go to the States and watch a Celtics finals game before I get too old. A few years ago, I actually made a reservation for tickets and hotels when we played against the Nets. Let's just say it didn't go well.

I couldn't go and watch us getting XVII because I was in the middle of a work project. But I watched every game of that series against the Lakers, even though it sometimes started at 3 am and I had to wake up at 7. I had a call from the hotel desk because there was an excessive amount of noise when I celebrated our championship... At about 5 in the morning. And other guests were complaining.

I've followed this board for years, even if I don't post much. Reading opinions from fellow fans is a way to keep close to the team. I read them every day.

24 years old Bulgarian here. Been a Celtics fan ever since watching a game on tv(game was vs the Spurs) in 2005, Pierce was awesome in that game, that's all I remember(from that game).

Street Dogs are definitely the next guys in line behind those two. After that there are a bunch of ways to go, it's a pretty large music scene.

I go to a lot of celtics games, bruins too. My company owns a suite. I've gone to 5 games this season I love it. Favorite moment was I was at a twovles celtics games back in the no baskets no easy lay ups with perk and big al. I turned to my friend and said Id love too see kg in green little did I know kg became a Celtic.

Hey guys, a new "old" blogger here.

I've been reading your posts for a while, and I'm very interested in everyones opinion, so I think it's a nice place to write.

I'm Ezequiel, 21 and from Argentina. I'm a Celtic's fan since 06/07 season I guess. Started watching PP carrying the team with a young but promise Rondo, all Tony Allen's energy, Delonte's effort, Gerald Green's highlight dunks and Big Al starting to fire.
Then all the Big 3 and have almost watch all national TV games and a lot on stream since that. Very attached to KG since Minny's time, Rajon since the beginning, and PP since always!

I'm and Ex-BBall player, a though pivot, but for work and college I left the game almost two years from now. I'm missing it a lot, but NBA fills that void in part.

Well, quick review about me, and hope all goes well and I have a great time posting here guys.

As said, yes, Street Dogs are great. Savin Hill is an awesome record. Was just listening to it last night. Also, a band called the Shods. Same genre. They have a few albums out. I think a couple may be on iTunes. Lead singer got MS, so it kinda derailed, but the CDs are great.

I am a hairy, overweight, balding and too quickly approaching middle age, exotic male dancer.

Over the summer, I had farmed in Barbados. Sold the land and returned to the States. Fiancee and I are planning on getting married but there is no rush. I am currently looking for 30-40 acres to set up shop. I plan on building an earth-sheltered, solar-heated home with my brothers. Currently splitting time between NYC and New England.

I eat seafood, fish, non-RBst dairy and organic eggs but otherwise avoid industrially farmed goods. I am really into sustainability, renewable energy and living frugally. I make and sell handmade soaps, body wash and shampoos. I also build solar arrays and have been working on a self-designed, low-impact, affordable wind generation project. I also dabble in aquaponics.

I speak passable Mandarin Chinese (mostly self-taught) and spent about a year teaching mathematics in Harbin, Heilongjiang (PRC.)

Added that I liked other famous Chinese poets, in particular the "Old Drunkard" Ouyang Xiu.

Apologized for my poor grammar but Mandarin (Putonghua) is difficult for me.

Wrote my favorite poem in the old style. (It is called "Jing Ye Si", a poem about homesickness. Most Chinese move away from their hometown first to study and later to work. It is just part of their culture.)

Have you heared of one of LiBai's famous poetry(望庐山瀑布）? The magnificant waterfall he described is in my hometown Mount Lu.It is a famous scenic spot in center china and not only has beautiful landscape but rich culture.Many poets created their masterpiece here.I think maybe you will like it..And now I work in shanghai which you may know.(woo...that's the real example for you mentioned.)

I've never been to USA and I want to boston and see a game in TD garden.now I am planning for this.I am so surprised about what you know about our culture and your chinese.That's so amazing.
