Game 19/20: Cavs vs. C's | Jan 29th/31st | 6/7 PM ET

Post#1 » by Rise Against » Sun Jan 29, 2012 11:08 am

Going to be playing the C's twice. Might as well make one game thread for both games.

First game is on the road.
Second game is at home.

* Starters are probably wrong. The C's are going through some serious injury issues right now. *

ESPN wrote:Boston (9-9) is currently playing without starters Ray Allen (ankle), Rajon Rondo (right wrist) and Jermaine O'Neal (knee). Rondo has been out five games, while Allen has missed three and O'Neal two.

(He is #2, WTF? Oh I don't give a f...)

If you didn't see the Nets game, make sure you check out Kyrie's performance. He scored 21 in the 4th quarter.

Discuss your thoughts on these next upcoming games. Will it be a split? Will we lose both? Win both? (Doubt it)

And let's not forget,

This is one of the few instances where I'm glad it's not a back to back. Should give the active C's some time to rest and maybe Ray will be back by the second game.

Irving vs. Bradley should be an interesting match-up. He's a pretty pesky defender. Unfortunately he's aids everywhere else.

Haven't been following the C's at all, but yeah, apparently Avery Bradley is a really good defender. We will have to see, I guess. Be a good challenge for Kyrie.

This is pissing me off. We need to develop Tristan Thompson. The guy comes in the game, gets no plays runs for him, and basically runs up and down the court for 8 minutes and is a ghost. Then like clockwork, the buzzer sounds and rotten corpse Jamison enters the game.

Apparently a vet like Jamison can do whatever he want and still get 30+ mins every game. It's a shame because he's really bad at both ends of the floor right now..

I guess you guys like it though because he gets us to lose games....

Scott is giving TT minutes like he is a late first rounder or something.. Isn't he picked 4th overall for a reason? I'm sick of seeing Jamison..

His rotations are bizarre. Why haven't we seen Erden? The guy was playing decent and then he disappears on the bench. I do not get it

I think his rotations is pretty good apart from Jamison getting too much time. It's not like he have any players that gonna give him 15-20 points off the bench.

Pretty sick we're leading. Kyrie and Varejao has been great so far.

A couple open looks for Bradley.. Uh, I hope this doesn't decrease Kyrie's minutes.

Parker has back spasms. Will not return to the game.. Wonder who will play the 2 now.

Jamison is just terrible. Just trade him and give TT increased mins together with Samardo.

Yes! Jamison is off the floor and TT is in. I can care less that we are losing by double digits.

Everything is much better on both ends of the floor once Jamison went to the bench.. Like that and 1 from Kyrie.

Cavs win! Irving with the game winning layup. He redeemed himself from that missed layup against the Pacers.

This is the type of games we want to win. Kyrie scoring game winners on the road against a hot Boston team.

Varejao was huge and Gee was big as well getting to the line nine times, he's extremely improved from the first time we saw him in a Cavs jersey.

This kid continues to impress. Unbelieveable.

What more can we say about Anderson Varejao? I know the Cavs are working hard to push an all star appearance for him, but man does he actually deserve it.
