Just saw this on Daily Dime chat live and had a laugh. (Zach is one of the guys running the chat)

Comment From Dwight Howard
Zach, you suck at your job. Do you like my leadership style? I know you wanna work harder to be better because of me, right?

To quote the late Woody Hayes "three yards and a cloud of dust" best describes the flow of this offense

1) Movement 2) Application of fundamentals 3) Predictability

stalls the offense so much... and doesn't know how to pass out of it when he's double teamed... completely ruins the philosophy of Inside-Out.

This, and the fact that Duhon spends about 16 seconds of the shot clock dribbling in one spot.

exactly

What a difference in offense ..

Philly keeps passing & attacking till they find someone with a high% shot.
We pass to one player, who, if he's in the mood, passes to another player or just shoots a contested low% shot.

I think Dwight wants a team that does more like Philly does ..

The offense is complete garbage between both teams. We are playing solid defense though despite a couple of bad rotations. Hopefully the energy and effort will pick up from us in the 2nd half.

It also seems that we have completely taken the high pick and roll out of our offense completely and just simply rely on posting up Dwight or setting double screens to free up one of our shooters. Dwight is so much more effective on the move rather than posting up cause he just does not have a dominant low post game to rely on or if he does make a move, he can't ever hit free throws consistently.

I think giving the ball to Dwight almost every time is the very reason why we don't play like that.

This. Dwight isn't even as good in the post on those isos as he was last year.

Newsflash Dwight-you'll never be a 30ppg guy with crap moves like that.

Well Duhon can't run a pick and roll to save his and his family's life so I'm guessing that's why we've been running everything but PnRs.

Dumb question but....

what happened to the Matt Guokas/David Steele combo?

I've been curious about this too. I hate the new announcing duos they're trying this year.

Yeah Dwight looks like he might have plateaued or regressed when it comes to post moves...damn sure regressed when it comes to freethrows....He needs to get deeper position sometimes he catches the ball a bit too far from the rim

Its not even that Dwight isn't a good post player. Sometimes he is, sometimes he isn't. But it completely demolishes any offensive flow either way. Dwight holding the ball for 10 seconds is almost as bad as the PGs taking forever to bring the ball up court.

OT because this game is boring...So this is the view from the second floor of my house. That is one half my backyard, the moose in the picture charged me and my dog down the street yesterday afternoon. I know some will take pleasure in that...Jerks. So whenever you complain about being in Orlando..remember. You dont live in Alaska.

We waste 1/2 the shot clock (sometimes even more) getting him the ball. Then he waits for the double team to come, and then passes it out. At that point there's about 4 or 5 seconds left on the clock.

Or D12 passes out and then reposts, gets the ball back, takes a shot, but no one else is in the paint -- to create spacing -- so the opposing team gets the defensive rebound

Yeah, Dwight is subscribed to the #Kobesystem right now. Except he's nowhere near as talented as Kobe offensively.

I guess I'll save the comments like "I washed my truck when I got home" "wearing shorts and a t-shirt"
