Don't know if someone posted this, but I thought this was interesting. Especially for those who are pushing to keep him on as a 6th man.

1. The clamor will now be for Beasley to be inserted into the starting lineup, especially with Wes Johnson struggling and the Wolves -- with the exception of tonight -- starting games slowly. I guess that should eventually happen, but he sure looks good leading the second unit. And, talking with him after the game, he insisted he is OK with a sixth-man role if it helps the team win. We'll see.

I trust Adelman to put SCB in the position where he will best succeed, and to help him realize more of his potential.

Also-- one uber-efficient 34 pt breakout game does not a consistent starter make. He's always going to be a streaky shooter. I'm ok with SCB as long as he continues his trend of at least trying not to be such a black hole on offense. I'm glad he had a great game, I want him to continue to develop the rest of his game so he's not a liability if his shot isn't falling.

The 12 free throws impressed me, if he stays in this attacking mode and keeps getting calls he'll be very helpful even when his shot isn't going down. It looked like he was really trying to work with the flow of the game and moving the ball when he didn't a good chance to score.
Very nice to see.
I was very happy with Webster's play as well, we may not have a such a desperate need on the wing with those two back. From what Kahn said he is going to spend this month evaluating the team before the trade deadline, march 15th. I'm sure these are the two he's looking at, plus Pek. If we get lucky we not have much of a need soon :)

Spree, if Beas best case is Spree, hell yeah! Spree was a damn fine player, just some brain/ego issues got in the way. Beasley has a goofy make up, but he isn't a prima donna.
His last tweet;
"I act like **** dont phase me... Inside it drive me crazy My insecurities could eat me alive!!!!!!"

I think Adelman can get Beas to the right place.

Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda
Beasley on if he's considered a permanent 6th man role: "No, but if it is a permanent role I'm going to play it to the best of my ability."

Jerry Zgoda @JerryZgoda
Beas asked if 6th man interests him: "I'm interested in playing basketball. If I got to be 6th man, then I will. If im a starter, then I am"

3-11 shooting vs. Indy ... was he sick, hurt, or just reality?

reality

but that back-to-back (fluke) games......if he can at least do 3/4 of that consistently,

a. He will be a superstar and live to his hype
b. Is the difference Minny needs to be a SERIOUS contender
