An angry Everton (I think) fan just managed to get on the pitch in during the Everton/Man City game and handcuff himself to the goal frame. Took stewards about 5 minutes to cut him loose. He did not look happy at all, not sure what his gesture was in aid of though.

I swear the club should have sold all the Portuguese players so AVB can't play them. Watch Ferreira start at LB on Sunday

Omg were we horrible today, how we did not lose that game was nothing short of a miracle. I still don't understand why Mata doesn't play in the middle. We need Essien to start on Sunday, I don't like Meireles at all and a trio of Romeu-Essien-Mata should be our midfield.

And for the love of god AVB, play Bertrand and Cahill and put Ivanovic at right back!

I would love to see mroe Essien if he's feeling up to form, and Ivanovic over Bosingwa is a move that feels even more overdue than it probably is...

Wilshere's suffered a stress fracture in his foot, delaying his return even further. Any chance he actually plays this season?

According to the club there is, but I doubt it. He'll probably get healthy in time to play in the Euros so he can get injured on international duty again.

No way he's healthy in time to play a real part in the season, really disappointing as he is one of the few true class players in the squad and I was really looking forward to seeing him progress further this season. Hopefully it's not going to be a consistent problem, an ankle injury requiring surgery, and two stress fractures in the same ankle does not bode well for his future. A real shame for Arsenal and England.

Convenient that for the second time this year the club announces his long term injury the day after the transfer window closes.

What's convenient is John Terry's trial date. :D

its getting downright ridiculous. if he doesnt tart ferreira he will start bosingwa on the left. and it will be a disaster. for the life of me i cant figure out how bosingwa keeps getting starts. he is just atrocious at defending, especially anything in the air and he is just as awful going forward. for every good cross he hits there another 20 that are nowhere near a player. as for bertrand must have slept with avb's wife or something. cole's legs are about to fall off, yet avb refuses to give him rest. and raul getting run all year despite playing like crap. now we have no choice but to play him i guess with lamps and ramires out. its down to malouda or raul and both are terrible. i was so exciting about avb at the start of the year, but he is really really disappointing.

i know it will never happen but our lack of spark and creativity is so bad in the midfield and up front that i would love to see luiz moved to right mid while ramires is out. honestly he is probably our 2nd most creative player after mata. how sad is that? ivan, cahill, terry and cole can cover the back just fine. i guarantee you that luiz can have more of an impact in that role compared to raul.

how we are still sitting in 4th is beyond me.

How did the ref fall for that?

Scumbag dive there by Davies, not even close to contact.

Chris Foy is just a consistently awful referee. I'm not surprised by anything does.

Lol at the announcer blaming Vermaelan for Davies diving.

The refs garbage, Song deserved a card, Steinsson didn't, Vermaelan didn't.

It's an incident involving a young English player against a foreigner. Who did you think they'd side with? :D
