If we could get Lamb without trading our pick, Bargnani, or Valanciunas I'm all for it. Trading Ed and DeMar for Lamb and using our own pick on one of the small forwards is risky but you've got to take risks with a roster like ours. I doubt any team in the range where lamb is projected to be taken trades their pick for DD and ED though.

I still say send Demar home for Eric Bledsoe, and draft MKG if available..

A starting lineup of Bledsoe/Gilchrist/James Johnson/Bargs/Jonas sounds dangerous on potential.

I'd do a DeMar for Bledsoe + the two clippers first rounders this year. That's quite a fair deal for both sides and would make the Clippers a championship contender as it solidifies them at the two with him and Foye, balancing their backcourt.

Bledsoe has as much potential and arguably more than any PG in this years draft.

Which 2 first rounders do they have? I know their own pick is owned by Boston, where do the other 2 come from?

Lamb definitely reminds me of a mini-tmac. the shot-happy (ie prime?) version. Looking forward to watching him today. Are scouts underrating him because of he's so slight? He definitely doesn't strike me a tough, durable player but I probably would have said the same thing about Tay Prince.

Good point. They do only own Minnesota's 2012 first rounder. Hmmm not sure that's worth it.

New Orleans owns Minnesota's pick. Remember the Chris Paul/Eric Gordon trade?

Sydeflyp wrote:Everyone clowns on steely on this board.... Yea he says some stuff that isn't the most popular, but at least he forms his own opinions. I feel like if PJ3 was on the mock drafts going first you would all be wishing for him, or if he shot up to first tomorrow, the tune would change on this board. The point is that we aren't even in march, the mock drafts are fun to look at but don't take them to heart, keep an open mind and don't base everything on hype. Stop posting like your posting fact and post opinions, or are there people on this board that make a living scouting?

You're saying Steely forms his own opinion? Everyone of us here (except you) all agree on Steely being most irrational poster on realgm and he's all about putting down every prospects in an intent to put his PJ3 to god status. For those of us who value some prospects over others, we don't talk nonsense crap about a certain prospect should be #1.

Like Nahom said, we all get it that Steely loves PJ3, but he praises him as if he's without any flaws and that he's going to be better than EVERYONE in this draft which is absolutely bull. Nahom likes Lamb, I like Barnes. But we don't say things like they are better than Davis, they should be drafted 1st over Davis. But Steely does, do you think he's making sense?

If you check his post again, he's talking to us as if why we have cross-player comparisons, We are all comparing the style of play, not looking into their current production to project what player they will become. While I have mention to him about PJ3 avg 'only' 7.9 reb, but look at the game by game, its obvious that Jones doesn't look to rebound every missed shot like Davis or MKG did. The guy is just so passive in all areas of his game. But no, Steely would just love to say PJ3 is the best player ever, he's got no weaknesses. Blah blah blah.

One or the other, not both.

I think Lamb has the potential to go top 5 but even if he does drop to the 10 range, I don't think DeMar would be enough to get a #10 pick in this draft. And of course as stated before, in that scenario we could just use our own pick on him.

Agree, Lamb is a top 5 potential. I really don't get how Chad Ford says Lamb will be 6-10 "more likely" The guy should be 3-5, 3rd at best. Maybe Demar and Ed will get us a 11-15th pick and other asset in return? I will be all to trade Demar and Ed away for a point guard prospect (Wroten/Kabongo).

Jesus Lamb's arms are long, you really notice it when he dribbles the ball.

I hate Judas Napier, the guy hogs the ball so much that he doesn't pass to Jesus Lamb. So frustrated with him.

And if Judas Napier doesn't get Jesus Lamb the ball, Moses Calhoun can't lead his team away from the flood.
