Next 5 Games [Games 23-27]

Post#1 » by pumunga » Thu Feb 2, 2012 7:17 am

2/3 @ Nets (haven't played them yet)
2/4 vs. Rockets (1-1)
2/7 vs. Kings (1-0)
2/8 @ Grizzlies (0-1)
2/10 vs. Mavericks (2-0)

I'll say 4-1 with the loss in Memphis.

I say 3-2

Wins against Nets, Rockets and Kings.

Grizzlies seems to be a bad matchup for us and i don't think we can beat Dallas three times in a row

Rubio playing the point: 4-1
Ridnour playing the point and sending Rubio to the corner: 1-4

arent beating the Grizzlies
arent going 3-0 against the Mavs
Rockets will not lose to MIN again

better grab those wins against the Nets and Kings. Nets might be tougher than you think.

I agree with the previous 2 posts. If Rubio is used right and the lineup rotations are a little better than the last couple of games, then I could see us going 4-1. But if we keep trying to run the offense through Ridnour half of the time Rubio is on the court, we'll struggle.

Grizz are a bad match up for us. I also don't see us sweeping the Mavs. And the Rockets game is a toss up. We better get those wins against NJ and Sac

1-4

The Nets suck.
The Rockets will crush us.
The Kings are not going to lose to Minnesota again.
Memphis is going to beat Minnesota again.
Dallas losing to the Timberwolves three times in a row is comical.

Grettings. First post here. Well, I really think we can go 4-1...at least 3-2. People have to start believing in this team. It feels like everyone in the league respect us more and give us more credit, than the one we are giving ourselves. Season just starting and now we are healthy. Good things will come.

Also to the previous posters, I don't know if is going to be necessary better, but the other half of Ricky's minutes will be handle by JJ now - not Luke. Luke will continue as SG and spot-up shooter, which he does pretty decent or OK.

First of all, welcome to the forums. Second, it's better to be surprised by a win than to be confirmed of a win, and its better to be understanding of a loss than disappointed by it. After last season, I don't blame fans for this way of thinking (I among them). This team is one of the youngest in the league and obviously showing signs of inconsistant play.

In other words, if you the viewer come into a game believing it's a loss, then you won't be as disappointed if they lose or feel confirmed of a win. I guess this explains my pessimism around these boards.

ditto

I'm 1-0 when predicting how many wins the team gets in a 5 game stretch, so call your bookie.
