60 assist to 6 TO's. Impressive by CP3, I have never seen a PG that can be that elite a playmaker and not turn the ball over at a high rate.....
Pretty new, came out just last week.
'Tis indeed most awesome. Just wish they'd include TS% as standard.

I suspect they'll get around to including advanced stats as well. Or at least I hope...

My dream for BBR is custom queries where you can set your own criteria and mine your own date. This may cause the site to break on a several-times-per-minute, however, so I understand why Neal is somewhat reluctant to develop that sort of functionality

+1
I got half of what I wanted with the addition of old box scores though

Didn't see that you had quoted me. I looked at that series to compare, I'm still taking Nash's performance.

Well it was in a higher round as well.

He has the highest career PER of any current player in the playoffs, and he has 3 of the 100 greatest statistical games despite only playing in 4 series. http://www.basketball-reference.com/lea ... ame_p.html

how is 24.6/12/5.6 better than 30/12/6 ?
not to mention that Nash's stats are underrated here, because they blew out Mavs in game 1 when Nash didn't put huge numbers because there was no need for it. what was really impressive about that series is that Suns actually struggled offensively --Nash aside-- and Nash stepped up as a scorer and just dragged them to the next round.
look at that stretch:
27/17/3
48/5/5
34/12/13
39/12/9
this is jordanesque. basically you couldn't stop Suns from getting 110 ppg, because either everyone was killing you with Nash dishing out tons of assists for easy looks, or even if you stopped everyone then Nash took on insane load offensively and went for almost 35-40 ppg. Paul never did anything of the sort.
and of course in the biggest game of Paul's life, Jannergo Pargo was leading the charge because Paul choked. that was when the pressure was on Paul because Hornets were favorites to win. it was in game 7 of Spurs-Hornets in 2008, when every game was lopsided up to that point, when Hornets played that game 7 on their home court. your career is made on those kind of games and Nash was at his best when that happened. in that game 6 vs Mavs where he put up near TD with 39 pts, he also hit a game tier 3 pter and then destroyed Mavs in the overtime.
so what are we even talking about ? Nash never had a disappointing series when he was counted on, and that's exactly why Suns fans are defending him so ferociously, because unlike fans of every other team we know what Steve Nash gave you when the season was on the line. Paul was all good when everything was alright, and then disappeared in the most important game of his life shredding responsibility on his backups shoulders. even in those lost series vs Spurs and Mavs, Nash was playing his best series and Suns were amazing offensively despite high level defenses, losing because of bigs inability to rebound the ball at somewhat respectable level on defense. Hornets lost in 08 because they played bad offense.
when Paul proves himself as someone who can perform under pressure when spotlight is on him, we'll talk.

To be fair to CP3, he didn't play all that bad. He had 18-14-8 with 5 steals statline. He played that whole except the last 25 seconds because he fouled out at the end. Pargo played 26 minutes so CP3 didn't really ask him to carry the game. The Hornets made 25 made baskets and CP3 assisted on 14 of them (56.6 AST%). The rest of the team minus CP3 shot 39% from the field

I don't think that statline is reflective of his game.

I watched that game in 2008 so I could be wrong, obviously. watch it and tell me your thoughts.

You misunderstood. I said Nash's performance was in a higher round than CP3's vs the Mavs.
