How'd he do?

17 points, 10 boards on 5-10 shooting. Got to the line 9 times.

Beal and his stat line tonight makes me...

10 rebs for a guy just over 6'3'' is very impressive. He's now averaging 6 boards a game. I like Beal. If we were to draft him, we'd need to strengthen our screen game, because that's how he'll really do damage, coming off picks, and shooting off of them.

His handle usually gets a lot of criticism, but I think it is a bit underrated. Lamb definitely has more of an iso game, but Beal is lights out off screens, pretty good at shooting over his man (can definitely drop a couple three balls right in your grill), and already has NBA range on his shot.

Better handles than DeMar i'm guessing?

Beal's draft position is really going to depend on how he measures at the combine. If his height and wingspan turn out to be less than desired, he could drop. The idea that Beal and Miller might both be available between 10-15 in this draft is crazy.

He actually looked like the 6'4-6'5 player that ESPN and Florida has him billed as to me tonight
which surprised me because I thought he'd look small around 6'2-6'3.

When it comes to Beal and Lamb I wonder if the Raps will consider moving DeRozan to SF or
making him fight against one of those guys to be the starting SG. NBA Teams are very picky
when it comes to size.

17.1 points, 4.6 rebounds, 3.3 assists, 2.0 steals, 3.0 personal fouls, 4.0 turnovers. Needs to work on his playmaking but he was known as a good passer in high school. He just has to figure things out better and has been lately.

Tony Wroten = Washington Wizard type player.
Do not want.
Stats are also inflated a bit by pace, and the fact that the Huskies are a young team in which Wroten is given free reign.

I don't really have a strong like or dislike for many players in the draft, so I trust the scouts and GM to make the right choice, But there are always a few players in each draft I absolutely do not want -- and Tony Wroten is at the top of the list.

Ummm...why?

TBH, if we take Lamb or Beal and we're gonna move DeRozan, I'd rather see what SF we could get for him instead of playing him out of position at SF

I don't think it would be smart to trade DeRozan when his value is at an all time low

He plays third guard a lot in their system, with the chucking midgets in Walker and Boynton, so he does have more rebounding responsibilities then a normal guard. But he cetainly seems to be well rounded -- which would be nice on our team, to have a wing who can score, but actually do other things as well..... it will be interesting to see him the next six weeks or so, when Florida could well play UK three times.

Chad Ford went team-by-team to pontificate on which player would be drafted 2nd overall after Anthony Davis. Here's us:

Toronto Raptors
No. 2: Harrison Barnes

With Andrea Bargnani and last year's lottery pick Jonas Valanciunas looking like the team's future front line, Barnes looks like a logical choice. The team has a weakness at the 3 and Brian Colangelo has a weakness for 3s who can shoot the 3. See?

While not fully enamoured with HB, its a logical pick. In my mind only ADavis is above the pack (not even the legendary Leonard Meyers)-- after that alot of players who seem solid players and you can go fit,

I really like MKG, and if we fall to four or five and have to settle for him, I will be happy. At 1 or 2 though, I think you need to go for scoring talent or game changer like AD.

Ew at that much HBo love at #2. I'm not even that enamoured with Drummond, but still. You don't take a spot up 3s guy at 2nd in one of the best drafts in a few years. This is one of the few chances to get a franchise player for a lot of teams, and that's not HBo

I'm guessing Thomas Robinson works his way to #2/the anti Drummond pick mix once he measures at 6'9+, as he did before the season. Although juniors typically have a hard time in the draft, he otherwise has the athleticism, workout friendly motor and college production to get that high
It's going to be a glorious day... I feel my luck could change
