We must show the Raptors that you do not bring knives to a tank fight.

Fri, Feb 3 7:00 PM EST
Wizards lead season series 1-0
Washington
4-18
Streak: Lost 2

@

Toronto
7-16
Streak: Lost 2
TicketsTV: CSW,TSN2

The Wiz are undefeated...........at home vs. the Raptors. Unfortunately, I see the Wiz getting OUTANKED by a hapless Raptors team with no Bargnani.

We can win this one if we stay away from the half court ball. :curse:

It appears as-though Toronto is joining the tank.

We need to win this game.

It will counteract the bad karma from the obvious tank job against the Magic.

Well, in fairness, we took Mike Pence off their hands. Taking back Mahinmi is the least they can do.

Can someone please tell me why Wall can't play with the same passing flair he did in the all star rookie game last year where broke the record for most assists ever? Is it because he doesn't trust his teammates and he thinks he needs to do it himself? Or has he evolved his game into a player who thinks he needs to score to win?

If I recall right, last year the coaching staff told wall they would fine him for every tantrum he throws, and every time he shows a bad attitude? Did I imagine this? What happened to this? Wall, to me, looks like he's been spoiled for a long time and struggles against adversity. Im not sure whether he is a true alpha male leader, that can put a team on his back and lead from the front. Or is he a worker that needs to be led.

I know there was a interrupted pre season and all, but does John Wall really have determination and courage to be a winner and not let personal stats and glory hinder this goal? Or is he going the way of the player that promises so much his whole career and can never deliver.

He has the best physical tools for his position since Magic Johnson. Is he mentally capable of reaching this potential?.....right now I have to say no.

His teammates can't hit shots. Plain and simple. Only NY can hit an open J, and he isn't properly utilized off the pass--he's an iso player.

The only thing I can really pinpoint as being different than last year is that we had Thornton, Howard, Yi instead of Vesely and Singleton this year. All other things have been pretty much equal. Wait, i take that make. Forgot to point out the continued regression of Blatche.

just surfed over to the Raps game thread

their tank is really strong

Sounds like Bargs isn't playing.

Very good chance for another road win.
Or if you're for the tank, you may not be happy after tonight
although we'll still be ahead of them in the tank race.

Captain (seriously) Andray Blatche, but he's been wounded in action I'm afraid. Command was assumed by his first officer Rashard Lewis.

The Wizards are currently 3rd in the league in pace of play. Only Denver plays significantly faster.

The words: "discharge" "Blatche" and "Lap Dance Tuesday" all in the same post.

Nice work, keynote.
