George/Granger over Gordon...
Way these two are playing, we won't see Eric Gordon anytime in the near future.
The two are slowly complementing each other, work out together, etc.
George body says SF, but his skill set says SG, and I think he's adjusting very well to that end.
If Granger can become a weapon without shooting the ball, he can truly be at or near a Scottie Pippen like level.
Sorry, as much as I think Gordon can be a good sell, George and Granger are playing like they want to be the wing combo to propel Indiana to the playoffs and beyond.

George >>>> Everyone.
Based on tonight.
30-9-5-5-1 and no turnovers.
So beastly.

Can George be this team's no. 1 option?

Re: George/Granger over Gordon...
the thing with Granger is he can punk guys like Beasley, Love, you know, big ass strong people.
I know I said I'd trade Granger for Gordon, but with things going like they are, it would be way too risky to mess with our chemistry.
Ultimately, Granger can stay as long as he embraces PG's development.
There has only been one other time, in team history, that we had one of the leagues rare talents. PG is helping me forget about Bender's medical problems.
Thank God Utah selected Hayward, I still have nightmares that if they didn't, we'd have him, and George would be in Toronto or something.
Right now it's hard to make an argument to execute any significant transaction, but the situation is fluid to me if a player like Gordon is involved. It all depends if he has been faking an injury or not because if he is truly hurt, Larry would be a dumba$$ to acquire him.

george is playing like a SG. Leave him there for the time being. Granger is more needed than Gordon as of right now.

They're like twins. I'm happy that Danny counts on him to produce when needed instead of Danny alone. Last game vs. Mavs showed the future of this franchise.

Re: George/Granger over Gordon...
Is there anyone else in the league who puts the size on the floor Indiana does? Granger, George and Hibbert are among or are the the biggest at their respective positions. That in itself is a big advantage very night. Trading out Granger for Gordon would change that. Pacers would have to decide they wanted to give that up.
The way they are playing now screams don't change anything other than maybe adding talent for minor pieces or picks (the deal discussed acquiring Kamen).

I like D and we'd take a big hit in that department.
I don't think I'd take Gordon anymore unless as a free agent or at a bargain price.

Why wouldn't they?
They did seem to want Martin, Scola and Odom.
Danny was born in New Orleans.
Teams much more than fans want their team to win games. That is not an easy thing to do when your player can't play (for whatever reason).

I think Danny, West, Hibbert, and Foster set the tone and are the chemistry of what we are witnessing this year. I think if we trade Danny it would severely mess up the 'team' we are seeing this year. I like Gordon, being an IU grad and all, but not at the expense of Granger.

I say we just keep our team as is and just add parts behind SG and C and i think we are set to fight for that CHIP. Ive heard many people think that we are a contender and NOT a pretender. Even a lot of my friends( Heat and Bulls fans, smh) have even fallen for the pacers as a contender also.
