I was looking for a vid to see if anyone has the highlights of the Heat's 4th quarter or every play, there's some vids like that. But maybe it's too early. But I found this. And the sounds are hilarious

Good win tonight, but I'm not letting Wade off the hook just yet.

Just watched the game on my League Pass. I was pissed for three quarters, really pissed ready to tear this team apart for yet another stinker and then there was the 4th quarter. That was the team playing the way it supposed to and, coincidentally, it was Wade's best quarter in the game, as he finally appeared to play like himself. Overall, I'm still not happy with his game tonight, but at least I won't have to go off on a major rant about him.
Aside of being aggressive, yet finding good looks on offense, our defense picked up big time in that 4th quarter, as we barely allowed the Sixers any open looks. It somehow comforts you going forward, yet also pisses you off because you know this team is coasting so damn much.

Our offense is so bad, it boggles my mind how they don't run some sort of min triangle. We're going to continue to get killed by teams like the Bucks and barely escape the Bulls if this doesn't get resolved.

I suspect both of you are guys are LeBron fans, there's no need to get insecure, I'm not trying to say Wade is better, all I'm saying is when Wade is established and given more time to handle the ball to make plays and initiate the offense, the Heat are a better team.Of course it also helps that Wade isn't taking terrible shots.arsenic wrote:Well your point is moot. Like diablerogue said, he's pretty much ON in every game because he's that good/consistent so if he has a night where his assists can make a bigger impact than his scoring, while it may look like a "hey were on to something" it's really nothing more than just another aspect of being as complete of a player that he is. Different games will dictate whats going to put a W in the column. But the fact is, MOST nights we'll need him to score big to win ALONG with Wade/Bosh and when you can get more out of your bench, then that's just a bonus but you can't count on that the same way you can count on the 3.
I'll also add that his end of the 3rd Q scoring of 8 straight points gave Miami a solid lead placing them in a nice position going into the 4th which he has done many times before. Only difference tonight is, they were actually able to sustain and pretty much take control in the 4th which usually doesn't happen for us late in games.

I had a career expo day so I couldn't watch the game today. I'm going to be running a baseball camp in Chicago (I live in Australia will be going to Chicago to live for 3 months, pretty cool
)
1. Who ran the PG spot when the HEAT had no true PG on the floor, did that same player carry the ball up every time?
2. How many minutes was it run for?
3. Was it really effective or could it just be a hot streak for one game?
Thankyou, p.s transfer some money into my account and I'll knee cap Derrick Rose in the offseason.

Ha! As if any Heat fans are worried about Derrick Rose. "It's extremely hard when a 6-8 guy can easily defend you." If you're going to kneecap anyone, make it Brandon Jennings

Alright here we go.
At which point did either of us imply that you said "Wade is better"? Now you're just pulling random thoughts out of your ass. Furthermore, if you DID say that, there's nothing wrong with it and you could absolutely be right in your own mind. I was merely stating Lebron is a guy who can win you a game scoring big which will be the case usually, or he can have his nights making a greater impact with assists.....he's as complete of a player as it gets.
Now you really lost me here...Wade IS "established" in our offense??? If you want to point out a guy who could be better implemented in that area his name is Chris Bosh. Just look at his numbers and style of play in comparison to when Wade was out and no that's not to say Wade is to blame, because he's not, I'd put it on Coaching and Bosh. Now back to Lebron, it's as though you haven't watched any of their games last season or even this one but I could probably pull a double digit number (or close to) out of my ass that would be in close range with the amount of games where Lebron impacted the game greatly by assists alone but when we throw in that comparison to how he impacted the game by being "all around" while staying dominant in scoring the number would be astronomical. You see where I'm going here? It's nothing new. You act like last night was some type of revelation and were simply pointing out it's not. The way Lebron plays his game is not the issue here. The way Wade had been playing was at no fault but his own.
By the way, I don't know if you've noticed but Lebron is doing something pretty amazing this season, so I don't think anyone is going to get "insecure" lolwut? over a TEAMMATE having a pretty good game because that's always a positive. Your "insecure" comment was... asinine to say the least.

LeBron's got his 18'000th point today btw, youngest ever to do so I believe.

1. Bron and Wade took turns bringing it up. I don't know if Miller did, but he could as well.
2. I wasn't paying full attention, but it seemed at least 5 minutes. At first I was annoyed Spo pulle Rio and didn't put in Cole, but then I realized this was the lineup we'd waited for all last year. It was nice to see it at full-strength.
3. It was effective, but I think the Sixers also missed shots. The truth is somewhere in-between. PEACE.

I was at the game.
Even saw myself on TV when I watched the 4th quarter again when I got home.
Lots of Heat fans were in the crowd here in Philly.

Props to your guys squad, definitely the better team, prob. best in the association. I was following this thread during the game, and most of you seem like cool and reasonable fans, but Sweettouch and chosen01 would not stop crying about fouls. What's with that, el heat have 3 superstars that get superstar calls and if anything the sixers were getting shafted with calls the way wade was flopping around in there during the 2nd. When philly had iverson we had no room to b*tch about calls no matter what, you guys have 2 iversonesque players that get whistles every time they drive the hoop. So to those 2 "man-up"...and good luck the rest of the way.

You can't fret about 2 guys in a 37 page game thread, that happens on every board. Your guy Westbrook even has his own Heat haters fan club.
