The way it should be - good. I wasn't really nervous about it, but I did have the thought in the back of my mind that too many would succumb to Brees' yards record and that offensive balance that makes ours look like a running attack.

Congrats to Rodgers for sure 8)

Great news, he deserved it.

I thought Brees would get more than 2 votes.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Nobody epitomizes the term ''LAME'' quite like Jimmy Fallon.

It's like when you watch Jon Brockman play basketball and scratch your as to why he is on an NBA roster, how the hell is Jimmy Fallon on TV?

Yeah I'm still watching the show even though I know the results.

After the playoff loss, I stopped worrying about who got the MVP award, but I'm happy for Rodgers anyways.

First of many hopefully

I am shocked Brady didn't get any votes. He carried that team.

I'm pretty sure Rob Gronkowski and Wes Welker were involved, somehow.

I love Rodgers, but Brees comes off as a man's man, a really honorable individual, when he speaks. Just super classy.

Welker and Gronk would be nobodies if they weren't playing with Brady imo. I believe Rodgers deserved it, but I am shocked Brady didn't get it considering the supporting cast.

Nobody was that high on Gronk coming into the season.

You must not watch the Patriots much, Gronk is a beast and Welker put up almost 1200 yards the year Cassell was their starting QB.

That's so silly. QBs don't turn guys who don't have talent into All-Pro players. QBs don't turn **** players into great players. Sure, having a great QB does help bring up the performance of those around them, but it's a symbiotic relationship.

Yep, and Gronk caught 10 TDs last year and made a score of big plays.

Well deserved. Congrats Rodgers!

Also, I was surprised that the Blount run against the Packers wasn't even in the top ten plays of the year. Strange. Pretty cool that Cobb won it though.

Sorry. I don't remember. When did you say you had that lobotomy?

The same Welker that had 111/1165 (in only 14 starts) with Cassel at QB? The same Gronk that had an excellent rookie year and is a monster? And you didn't even mention Hernandez. Those two showed massive potential as rookies (to go along with very good production).

If Hernandez had not gotten hurt they would have had two 1000 yard TEs to go with a WR who is rivaled by no one when it comes to getting open within 10 yards combined with one of the best pass blocking OLs in the NFL. Poor Brady. Rodgers (and Brees) would crush in that offense. Hell, even a guy like Cutler would put up huge numbers with that personnel. Matt Flynn could probably finish top 5 in yards passing in a season in that offense. It is impossible to guard all three of those guys when Gronk is so big and athletic, Hernandez is a freak, Welker is basically always open, and the OL is easily top 5 in pass pro.

The Cobb play was awesome but that isn't play of the year material.

Brady can also sit back there for minutes at a time. His feet don't even move on some plays! He'll have a tough time today, because the Giants will make him actually have to move around.

He reminds me of that character from Punch Out on Super Nintendo, where he'd lose it if you hit him in his face.
